Be a leader, not a friend - Tiago da Silva Mascarenhas
I have been involved in leadership for a long time, managing one of the largest language schools for over ten years. At the same time, I have been involved in numerous other projects, including large and small startups located in eleven different countries whose teams used English and other languages. This experience has allowed me to see what is and is not successful for leadership.
As a result of a long journey and a continuous learning process, I have come to understand what it takes to be a successful leader. Throughout the years, I have made mistakes and learned from them. I have also seen what works for others and even learned from the mistakes made by my peers. We never stop learning and, in this book, I am going to take you on a journey through leadership as I see it today, how it works, what you need to do to be successful, the mistakes to avoid and the lessons you should learn. By sharing my experience and insights, I can help you become the leader you want to be.
