A Little Hidden Storybook Little Stories for Girls and Boys by Lady Hershey for Her Little Brother Mr. Linguini - Olivia Civichino
A Little Hidden Storybook
A long time ago, there was a little girl named Moira who loved to read. Moira especially enjoyed going to the library. She thought the library was a magical world of its own, and she quickly read new books one after another, because she could never wait to find out how the stories would end.
One day, Moira had just got home from the library with her daddy, and she was excited to read the book she had checked out. But when she opened the book, she found another little storybook tucked in between the pages. Wow!
Moira thought. The library has hidden treasures! There’s never a dull moment.
The little hidden storybook was about a cheerful young elf named Dwindle. As Moira turned the pages, she found a small handwritten note tucked within it. The note read, Spread kindness and do a good deed.
There were a bunch of children’s initials signed all over the note.
When Moira finished reading, she knew she could not ignore the note. She believed there must have been a reason why she had found the little hidden storybook inside her library book.
