Aya’s angry mother, Mary, finds her daughter’s tape recorded diary and begins a slow process of self-examination. Mary hadn’t realized there was more than one way of looking at something, and initially she struggles with the notion. Meanwhile, the friends try to figure out a way to help Aya.
