Toy Soldiers

We have allowed the devil to infiltrate the Church with confusion [Nehemiah 2:8-14]. This continues to happen because we are not taking the responsibility to defend the faith. In doing so, multitudes of believers have become stiff like toys – unable to stand against the wiles of the enemy. Too often, we turn a blind eye to the doctrines of Christ – almost as if we do not care. Thus, the Church has become a playground for many false prophets and fake teachers of the gospel. Furthermore, it looks like we are relaxed as if nothing is wrong [Jude 3-6].

We have been stiff for too long. We have been silent for too long. We have comfortably indulged in some desires for too long. We have focused on our aspirations for too long [Isaiah 33]. Now, we must break out of our comfort zone. The time has come for us to march into battle and courageously conquer the powers of darkness [Isaiah 2:4].

We must rescue the Church back from the hands of the enemy and cast him out of our midst. We must turn the Church back to its original state. Let us be righteous again. Let us be holy again. Let us be strong in the Lord again. Let us be forgiving again. Let us be humble again. We must go back to trusting God again. We must reclaim the purity of Christ back into our lives. Let us go back to living according to God's attributes. We must stop being unfaithful to the kingdom as if it is the enemy. This is the time to rise together and save the Church [2 Thessalonians 2:3-12].

I dedicate this book to every believer who has lost the ability to fight. This is for anyone who has fallen into the hands of the enemy. To those who have become slaves to the devil and distant friends to God. To my brothers and sisters in the Lord who have been shackled by ancestral curses and evil covenants.

To those who have lost the passion to rise up and conquer; this book is a great opportunity to regain the strength you lost. The time has come to strike back at the enemy and recover all the blessings that belong to you. As you read this book, may you be inspired to chase your dreams and aspirations. INTRODUCTION

Many believers fail to be authentic soldiers for Christ because they are under the influence of individuals who do not know God. As a result, multitudes of Christians across the world have been turned into puppets for the devil. By reading this book, you will get some unique insights that can help you to be a true fighter for the Lord. When you become a formidable warrior for God, you will be able to destroy the attacks of the enemy.

Perhaps some situations in your life have made you stiff like a statue – unable to move forward to achieve your goals. As you read this book, I hope you will find some mysteries that will inspire you to be the contender you were created to be. In the power of the Lord, you can conquer the seemingly impossible. CHAPTER ONE

THE INVASION

‘’The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.‘’

UNINVITED GUESTS

There is a story of a couple whose home was invaded by a colony of mice. They tried a few methods to get rid of the rodents until they eventually decided to call pest control to exterminate them. The couple was parents to a young boy who had a collection of ‘’Toy Soldiers.’’ He realized that his parents were so concerned, so he was determined to do something about it. He promised himself that he would command his soldiers to eradicate the mice. He wanted to make his parents proud.

One night before he went to sleep, he methodically arranged all the toys in specific positions around the house. Also, he instructed the toys to kill all the rodents in the house in the middle of the night. In his mind, he believed that the toys had obeyed his command. He expected them to destroy the mice whilst he was asleep. On his way to bed, he promised himself that he would be the first one to wake up early to check if the mice had been destroyed by his little soldiers. As he rose from bed early in the morning, he noticed that some of his little soldiers were on the floor – almost as if someone threw them down.

The boy was unhappy because he believed in his little toys with all his heart. In his imagination, he was convinced that his toys would eliminate all the rodents in the house. The boy had faith in his artificial models but did not yet know the truth. He bowed his head in disappointment. Tears ran down his face as he witnessed a number of his toys scattered in the house. In anger, he gradually picked up each toy and asked them why they did not kill the mice, but they could not respond. Filled with rage, he gathered a number of the toys and smashed them to the ground. In doing so, some of the toys broke into pieces. The toys were useless because they could not attack the mice in the house.

Toy soldiers cannot communicate as humans do. They cannot see, hear, and fight like real warriors because they are not alive. The boy’s toys could not defend themselves against the mice in the house. They could not stop the young boy from breaking  them into pieces. Likewise, they could not escape from the boy’s hands.
