#1 The song Anything Goes by Cole Porter is a perfect example of how the moral relativism that has infected our culture has led to the West on the brink of spiritual collapse.
#2 Porter was a prime example of how the culture in America has become extremely decadent. He was extremely alone at the end, and he never found the strength that came from faith in God.
#3 The Bible anticipated that decadent times like our present age would come. In speaking of His second coming, the Lord Jesus said, But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be (Matthew 24:37).
#4 The doctrine of depravity has to do with God’s estimation of man, not man’s estimation of man. We are the heirs of generations of the teaching of evolution which sees man in an ever-ascending spiral, rising higher and higher from the depth from which he has sprung.

The internet is full of pornography, and it is becoming more and more accessible. It is a symptom of our sex-laden society, and it is becoming more and more common among teenagers and young adults.
#6
The Supreme Court of the United States redefined marriage in 2015, in the case of Obergefell v. Hodges, to include committed relationships between same-sex couples. This decision has led to aggressive legal discrimination against those who hold a biblical view of marriage.
#7
Bible-believing members of our armed forces face new restrictions on expressing their religion, and military chaplains are on the front lines of intense politically correct pressure.
#8
There are many areas of societal moral decay. The abortion industry is one of the most glaring examples of this, with well over 58 million babies having been legally murdered since the Supreme Court legalized abortion in 1973.
#9
The Enlightenment, which was a movement of secular thinking, promoted the idea that God, if He exists, is uninvolved with the world. Humans are the moral force in the universe, and we can govern our morality by societal consensus.
#10
The collapse of Western morality can be traced back to the Enlightenment, when it became possible not to believe in God. The alternatives to God have become dominant, and Christians have become intellectual outlaws in the secular world.
