The disciples asked Jesus how many people will be saved, and he replied that the gate to the heavenly kingdom is narrow, and many will seek to enter but not be able. In other words, more people will be lost than saved.

Compassion is often used to support and justify ungodly lifestyles. We tell ourselves that we don’t speak about our faith because we fear offending someone, but in reality, we are afraid of being thought of as judgmental.

I dedicate this book to those who seek to stand for the truth, despite the possible vitriol, and consider it a badge of honor. I also dedicate this book to all who believe that the day of casual commitment to the gospel must come to an end.
