I dedicate this book to my wife
and our families
.
Give a voice to the one you love,
But not to drown out the passion
.
Acknowledgment
I have to acknowledge my Lord Jesus Christ for the words and the ability to put them on paper, because of my struggle to spell the word and my dyslexia, it was a miracle that any of my words ever appeared on a paper.
I also thank Him for giving my wife the patience and the love to withstand the lonely hours it took me to put the first book and this book together.
My confession and apology lie in two of my poems, Blown in the Wind
and I Never Had a Dream

Tomorrow is not just another day.
It is a day more precious than Gold.

Be kind to me
Yesterday's voices haunts me
it whispers of
love, joy, and
pain.I will not
give into
what
I cannot see
To Tomorrow
Tomorrow be kind to me.

It takes
It takes longer to
break a habit
Then to make a habit

Unfulfilled
It seems I must do something I have
not done. Somewhere I must go that I have never been.
I have a feeling I cannot dismiss,
a feeling that I have reached for
but cannot grasp.
A dream I have not fulfilled.
There are words I have not spoken.
Words I have not heard or dream of
what I may become or how l may understand who I am.
I seek to know who I was and what I will become.
For the answers do I look to the future
or to the past or do I just live this life as
long as it last.
.
Freedom
You have killed the lamb of freedom; it lies bleeding on the ground. You have stolen our peace that we wore like a crown.
Have we lost the light of freedom?
Is it all back and doom or is the
son of freedom hidden in a darken room?
Can you hear freedom song? The one that
all free people sing.
Can you hear freedom song?
Can you hear the joy
