As it was written from the time of my divorce,
my life began to change and seemed to take its own course.
As Twenty Clicks into the Wind was written, my mother had found and read.
She called me and told me she cried. But I didn't stop. I kept writing more instead.
Every day that I wrote, my mother kept note.
She kept everything that she saved in a file.
Till one day, it built up, and I put it in a big pile.
Kept on writing, I did. Speaking about the love I had for my son.
Till one day, we strayed away. And our bond had come undone.
Then one day, I got into a bind, so I came up with a thought.
To bring my past back up. The pages that I've written may someday be bought.
So as I took a look, I made my diary my book.
My life, my diary, my poems. Now it's my time to share.
Every line that I've written is now complete and all there.
Everything that you read is exactly what you're gettin'.
While I tell you what was said, is...as it was written.

My Diary
These words that I write.
Are a diary of my life.
Some are strong.
Some are not.
Some you might remember.
While others forgot.
True for the world to see.
Way to kill my pain.
It's the only thing that keeps me free.
As I write.
I feel lifted.
Dumb as a box of rocks.
But in this way, I feel gifted.
My poems are my way of life.
My poems help me.
Like my bayonet.
While others leave me.
It still hasn't yet.
Yes, some are depressing.
But some may have you smile.
You are not alone in life.
For we all have our own style.
About the Author
My autobiography
Who am I? you may ask.
This I wish I could tell…
I was a child filled with laughter.
With parents of divorce.
I was the dream with a happily ever after.
That was one day thrown off course.
I am a father to a son.
I was once a husband to a wife.
I am a soldier stuck on the battlefield.
I am the man who's lost his way in life.
I suffer from addiction
I am troubled with my past.
I no longer put myself on restriction.
Still broken but now with a cast.
Today I continue the fight to remain sober.
Today I feel super.
But as I turn my life, my diary, and poems over.
Today, I am…
