Her aim is to use her publications to educate as many people as possible, so that they will have the opportunity to, with the use of proper food proportions and supplementation, take control of their health, thus managing the chronic conditions that cannot be cured and cure others. In addition to her nutritional interest she also indulge in a little graphic design, creating print items such as cake boxes (favor box), invitations and programs for weddings. Diet for Diabetics and the Weight Conscious - Jacquelin F. Grant
Preface
It was a close call of what could have been fatality from a prescribed drug for chronic sinusitis during the mid-1990s that changed my perspective, and nutritional journey. After taking the medication, I had extreme difficulty breathing. I explained my experience to a co-worker, who introduced the use of supplements. I subsequently started attending seminars that, among other subjects, presented the cause of sinusitis and how to use supplements to treat the condition effectively. Implementing my newfound knowledge with diet adjustments worked beautifully. Within a year, I was free of the infection, thus embarking on research to learn more about nutrition, how it works, and what foods help alleviate the onset of different diseases.
During that period of research, and when the consumption of saturated fats was ill-advised, I discovered from experience that animal fat was essential for the production of beneficial body fluids. To be specific, beef fat was what I used. Research concurred with my findings and revealed all the benefits of fats and its essentialities in the diet. Thus my research continued, which involved the nutrients, and other plant chemicals that heal, minimize, and prevent various diseases.
By 2009 I started assisting nutrition students online with their assignments. Subsequently, I thought it a good idea to author books that will help many more people to understand the basics of keeping healthy, thus my first publication, Nutrition That Keeps You Alive
. After reading my book, a community nurse referred me to a patient that found it difficult to control her cholesterol level. The patient subsequently procured one of my books. Within a week, she reported the beginning of success. Several months later she said that based on tests done, her cholesterol level was average, and grocery cost also benefited, since she was spending far less for food at the market. After reading the publication, my doctor was impressed and advised me to write about diabetes and weight loss. Following that advice, I compiled the first edition of this book, Diet For Diabetics And The Weight Conscious". I grouped both conditions in one book simply because the diet and foods that address diabetes, also regulate fat accumulation.
Cancer is on the rise. Research suggests that it can be prevented, and I do believe it to be so, hence this, my third publication, Diet For Cancer Patients
. Since its first edition, it has helped people who are willing to follow the suggestions. One lady who heard about it saw me on the road. At that time, I had only my copy. She insisted that I sell it to her. Since 2009, many people have benefited from my nutritional suggestions. I am aware of beneficiaries ranging from persons with sinusitis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney stones, hypertension, and cancer. I continue to advise people to what I do to maintain good health, among the multiple tasks I perform. You too, can benefit. This is your chance.
