He has not stopped writing since. Erwin lost two wives to Ovarian Cancer. When discovered, they were both terminal and passed away in a matter of weeks. He kept them both at home and was alone with them both in the end. He wrote this book to help others who may be grieving after losing a loved one. He writes. Introduction

Music has always been an important part of my life. When I was a child, my father used to listen to classical music on the radio, also he had some vinyl records he use to play.

Frequently. My mother would take us on Saturdays to Arthur Fiedler’s Children Concert at the Esplanade along the Charles River in Boston.

My first wife, Virginia had a beautiful Mezzo Soprano voice and frequently sang solos in our church. Living in Boston’s Back Bay area, we also belonged to the Boston Opera group and attended at Faneuil Hall.

I always loved to hear duets. The separate male and female voices and then a combined duet. To me, this was very moving and inspiring.

The Music contained in this book, was my struggle to write lyrics, hoping that someday it could be put to music. I entered several Lyric-Writing contests and always got good reviews but could never find anyone to help me accomplish my goal.
