Kim was using my body as a punching bag. Bang, just inside my left hip bone. Bang, just to the left of my navel. I felt my flesh jiggle. Bang, just under my right ribs. A bop to my solar plexus sent pain deep inside. She feinted a shot at my right breast and I moved my arm down to protect it. But a squeezing of the arm around my neck forced my hand back up.

Keep your hands on my arms if you want to breathe, said Shinju.

Shinju, a small but vicious Japanese wrestler, had her arms wrapped firmly around my neck. She’d let me breathe so long as I kept my hands on her arms. Kim, the equally vicious Korean, busied herself lining up a punch in the center of my belly, just above the top edge of my bikini. I readied to tighten my abdominal muscles in anticipation of her next series of blows.

My tormentors had started by backing me up to a pillar, scrawling ‘Jobber Girl’ on my belly, and then taking turns targeting each letter of what they had written with their punches. Now they were turning it up a notch.

Slam landed the punch. Kim hadn’t hit as hard this time. She knew that my abdominal muscles couldn’t protect this area. Kim was slightly taller than me, much taller than Shinju. Her body was lean and mean, not an ounce of fat on her body. Unlike me, there was no belly bulge when she wore a bikini. The only place where she had any fat was on her full breasts but that just made her physicality all the more imposing.

Kim’s long black hair flew to the side and her other fist slammed into my gut, just to the right of where her previous blow had landed. Her face, especially her round but prominent cheekbones, was attractive but not quite pretty. Beautiful
