    PROLOGUE

The first attempt: was a life lived, mine. Feverishly trying to live according to God’s will. Thinking back I am not sure why that was ever a conscientious goal. Perhaps it all started with my mother. I used to blame my mother for everything, one being raising me with the constant religious rhetoric throughout my life.

Growing up I viewed my mother as; a woman of faith, whose faith destroyed the woman. Funny, it was one of the many experiences that saved my life. I took some nuggets from the journey, mixed in some of the religious rhetoric. And melted them all down, and molded them into this book.

God loves you! One phrase that I was taught in Sunday school. Words that covered my soul for decades: Smoldering my mind, preventing it from burning out due to the toxicity of my childhood. But what did God loves me truly mean? I tried for years to reach God to get an explanation.

Childhood was uncomfortable to say least. Having experienced visions and prophetic dreams early. I found myself searching and believing that there were forces, energies, spirits everywhere. God!, the idea of God was something external who was cruel if you were not good, Something along the lines of Santa Claus….but bigger.

I believed it all started in Sunday school. My mother would give me change for the collection plate and send my brother and I out the door. I would be wearing the prettiest dresses, fit for a bright Sunday morning of worship. My afro-centric hair was filled with neat long beautiful plaits complete with ribbons and colorful clips. A shiny glistening face, I was hoping to get God’s attention.

I must admit though the change that my mother gave me for the collection plate. Was soon transformed into Hubba bubba bubble gum. While my pretty Sunday dresses became stained with the evidence of play from the many parks along the way.

By the time I ran away from home at age 11 God loves me! became more of a question God loves me? Somewhere on the journey the phrase God loves me? a long held childhood belief died, falling short of my heart or at least lacked understanding.

I won’t get into the reason why I left home. I’m going to save that for another book. What I am going to focus on, is the journey of my mental health or the lack of it which caused me to have a crisis of the mind.

This crisis resulted in a death, which allowed me to rediscover why this death had to happen to give light to my future. The lessons left behind (Wisdom) have allowed me to become the best version of myself creating a strong mind that can weather the storms of life.

Do you know what comes after brainstorming? A b-rainbow. Because after unifying with the divine which you will read in this book at least how I view it from my perspective. A sudden beauty of clarity arrives. In my case it was a rainbow …I mean b-rainbow. Many things had to happen before I could see the light, apply and change then focus to manifest the life I wanted to live.

Clearing away the lies, being mindful of the energies placed upon me due to others emotions. As well as removing the burden lens that society places on mental growth. Burden lens blinded my inner beauty while the pressure constricted my ability to use the power of the mind. If there are no seeds of love sown in the mind-garden, love will not grow.

To create positive change, the intuition needs to be heard as it is the G.P.S for one’s own personal future. Society has helped create the greatest enabler. Consumerism; The constant want. The I want energy silences the intuition constantly wanting for things outside of the body; never looking within can manifest into poor mental health.

The journey I have lived thus far has helped me rid myself of such things meaning I no longer ignore my intuition. Do I still want?’’ Certainly, but not more that I want to learn to be".

It is a continual process that has guided me to find clarity to the question

    God loves me?

In this book I share my answers and my insight on a portion of the journey. You will also notice the word pause in the book; it is meant to remind you to take care of yourself. I found in life pausing helped me to prepare my mind or digest incoming and flowing information. This ongoing journey has allowed me to truly see myself while adding compassion to all those who are a witness to the transformation and to the answers that I have discovered.
