About this ebook

“The Orphan King” is the story of an orphan named Delfi who was found near the Palace Gardens left as a baby and found by the Palace Guards.

The King raises him as his own son and teaches him how to be a man of character and substance.

Before the King dies, he calls Delfi to his deathbed, and anoints him as the new King.

Delfi becomes King, only as a way to honor his father’s promise inspired by our Heavenly Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ—to help alleviate and end the suffering of orphans and street-children of the world.

This is his story.

    "In the Land of

    Far Beyond"

In the Land of Far Beyond there lived a king—

He was a good man who helped many people in his life.

One of the orphan children that he helped was now a grown man.

He was now living with the poor children helping them

To change their lives by teaching them how to read

    And how to write—

He not only helped the children but also the

    old abandoned men and women

Forgotten by others in the kingdom—

the widows, the sick, the poor.

    His name was Delfi.

He was named not after the Oracle of Delphi

But after the dolphins that were so gentle and beautiful

    And kind in the sea—

    In the sea—

The Old King’s name was Taim.

    He was in bed dying—

The king helped many people in his kingdom

And he remembered Delfi because he helped him, had rescued him

from poverty and had given him his name.

But was surprised that he didn’t want any high position

    In the kingdom.

All of his children were now grown men and women

    Who grew up with Delfi

But they were different than Delfi—

    They loved him very much.

But they didn’t understand his heart.

But they didn’t understand his heart.

The Birth of a New King

    Violets,

    Lights,

    Violets,

    Lights.

    Lights. Lights.

The lights of the lampposts shone in my eyes

I was left in the flowers

    I remember the violets.

    They became my favorite flowers.

I was born in the flowers.

They found me in the flowers

    In the flowers.

    In the flowers.

They took me to an orphanage
