About this ebook
(Dedicated with love to the Brazilian people of the world)
There's a voice in my heart
A voice that guides you
Purifies the darkness with beauty
And new life
This light in the forest.
We are all natives.
We are all human.
My blood comes
In the Amazon rain
All the tears i have cried
For you
My beautiful ones.
Inside the veins of the trees
Is the wisdom to heal.
Love each other--
I want the drug gangs
To give up their weapons
Find the Truth.
There's a voice in my heart
A voice that guides you.

Dedication
I dedicate this book with all my heart to my mother, Antonia Mendoza. Although she never had an education, and never learned how to read and write when she was growing up as a poor girl in Mexico; she fought for me when I came to America so that I would graduate from High School and be the first to graduate from College. Thank you mom, I love you with all my heart always.
Book Introduction
The poetry collection, Poems to Jesus Christ: The Lost Poems
Volume II, is about the spiritual journey of a man’s soul through his discovery of his gift for writing poetry when he experienced a ‘spiritual awakening’ while he was teaching English to poor people in Asia. The poet went through a long three year depression trying to understand what God wanted him to do with his life after his return to America. The following poems were inspired during this ‘rebirth’ of his talent which brought out the best of his gift for poetry while making his faith in God stronger.
The poems were written as a guide to God in which the poet describes to God all the pain and sorrow that we as humans have gone through and are going through right now in our history. These poems are prayers in poetic form which ask God to understand humanity and not give up on the world—that the world is indeed worth saving.
The poems are also keys to knowledge and wisdom that we as readers and humans can learn from in order to understand our pain and the pain of others so that we can change the world and make it a better place for all of us.
Why Jesus Used Parables
Passage taken from The Book of Matthew: Matthew 13: 10-17.
Then the disciple came up and asked him, Why do you speak to them in parables?
He answered them,
"Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them. For whoever has, {more} will be given to him, and he will have more than enough. But whoever does
