Vareny

In world of birth, death many worries be,

They are very hard to endure in actuality,

Remover of obstacles, kindly show me,

The path to liberation now very clearly.

How can there be bondage in reality

In Your realization - kindly show me.

Declare to me that teaching lucidly,

By which I can attain liberation truly,

That yoga through which I essentially,

Can rid desire, anger, death, fear fully.'

Brahma

"Having heard this speech attentively,

Gajanan sat Vareny on seat comfortably,

Placed his hand on his head lovingly,

Started to teach Ganesh Gita clearly.

He casting away all the doubts fully,

By presenting His universal form truly,

When Gita essence understood be,

He shed his kingdom for forest in glee.

Detached, King meditating on Gajanan be,

Unattached, ever preached this Gita only,

As water thrown into water still water be,

He as Him, by meditating on Him did be.'

Vyasa

'Four-faced, Lord of gods, I requesting be,

Please do recite simply and very clearly,

Ganesh Gita with true compassion surely.

For it removes all ignorance completely.’

Brahma

"This very thing was requested previously,

By the great and learned Saunak Rishi,

The sage recited the Ganesh Gita simply,

As he heard it from Vyasa formerly."

01. Sankhya Yoga Essence

Saunak

'You know the nectar in actuality,

Which stated in the 18 Puranas be.

I wish to sip that nectar heavenly,

That helps attains Brahman finally,

Blessed! Tell me compassionately,

About that nectar of this yoga fully.'

Vyasa

'I will tell you that this Gita in reality,

But presents the path of yoga clearly,

It entrusted by Lord Ganesh did be,

To that inquisitive king very lucidly.'

Vareny

'Lord of obstacles, armed God mighty,

Who skilled in all the sciences be,

Who knows the meaning accurately,

Of sacred texts – This Yoga tell me.'

Gajanan

'O King, your intention determined be,

Through my favor. I will tell very clearly,

Gita which consists of the nectar of yoga,

This yoga is not the yoga of prosperity,

It not obtainable through senses’ object be,

Nor through the material elements truly,

The union of the parents not yoga be,

Nor union with sons, kins, others surely,

Not yoga with eightfold mystic powers be,

Nor
