About this ebook

The expression sexual revolution has too many connotations. It carries a lot of vagueness - each one who interprets it as it suits him best.

To call something a revolution, that is, a drastic change, you first need an initial situation, which is the one that is notably modified. I call this original position precisely that, original, The original vision of sex. It is a belief in the association between sexual activity and procreation. An open and clear recognition that sex is linked to creating life in children.

Also, a deep association is considered between the sexual activity of the two people who perform it, assuming that there is love and mutual exclusivity between them. For example, for Christianity, the formation of a family is of such importance that it is considered a sacrament. A decision of two who make a promise before God, This original vision takes sex as something serious and fundamental, considering serious offenses to sex outside of marriage and acts of marital infidelity.

Sexual activity in its original vision also considers an idea of complement between man and woman the only way in which legitimate sex is understood.

It is the separation between sexual activity and procreation, the two inseparable elements of the original vision. The separation can be done using two methods, contraceptives and abortifacient. The fertilization of the ovum is prevented, or the early product of that fertilization is killed.

    Introduction

The separation between sexual activity and exclusive love, the two inseparable elements of the original vision, is achieved by changing perceptions about sex and making it see as a personal pleasure to which one is entitled to a supposedly satisfying affective life.

Sex is with whoever accepts that direct relationship without subsequent commitment or claim to exclusivity.

The separation is achieved by changing the perception of the male-female duality to the perception of sexual multiplicities between the sexes expressed in variations of tastes; therefore, it can be defined with greater precision. It is a movement that is formed by three contrasting elements to the original vision.

    The sexual revolution:

It removes the possible natural consequence of sexual activity by abortive and contraceptive means, By doing so it promotes an increase in sexual contact with some collateral effects, such as the greater transmission of diseases, it also removes the condition of natural complement, By doing so, it also promotes an increase in Possible sexual contacts without the condition of natural complement, with possible secondary effects such as the transmission of diseases and the redefinition of the family. Finally, the great contrast between the two positions is already easy to intuit.

For the original vision, sex is something serious and important. This human capacity deserves to be cared for and treated with respect. For what it needs, conditions such as the inseparability of sex and love, sex and procreation, of sex and biological complementarity.

For the sexual revolution, sex is entertainment, a physical pleasure that should not have limitations or conditions. It does not have seriousness or respect or rules in sex that regulate it. It is a leaving without reins the possibility of a physical pleasure to which conditions should not be placed.

Chapter  1 What is sex, and what is it for?

Human reproduction is described as the set of complex biological and biochemical processes that allows two human beings of different sexes (man and woman) to conceive a new single being belonging to the species, that is, to reproduce.

For this, human beings have a specific reproductive system in our bodies, which matures and develops throughout puberty, and which is physically and biochemically different depending on the sex of each individual. Thus, to reproduce, it takes two fully developed, fertile, adult human individuals.

As indicated by the presence of two well-distinguishable sexes, human reproduction is sexual: it occurs through the union of germ cells of both parents (called gametes: female eggs and male sperm), which have half of the genetic information of each individual, assigned entirely at random.

These cells are created in the sexual organs. Thus, when put simultaneously, the two halves create a totally new, unique, and unrepeatable genetic information or genome, which will be that of the new species.

From that moment on, the new human life grows inside the womb until it has developed enough to live independently. It is then ejected from the uterus through the birth canal, commonly known as being born.

The gathering between a man and a woman to begin the reproductive procedure is called intercourse or sexual intercourse. Both individuals have to be in a state of sexual stimulation: the penis must be erect, and the vagina lubricated so that penetration occurs simply and painlessly. A series of movements are generated to stimulate the large nerves of each sexual organ until leading to climax and orgasm, which is a set of intense sensations of pleasure. During orgasm, semen is expelled from the man's body, producing ejaculation.

The sperm travel in the semen, which, aided by the vaginal contractions of climax, enter the uterus and are received by the ovum, expectant. Only one of the millions of them in a single ejaculation enters the interior of the ovum. Thus fertilization occurs, which is the beginning of reproduction.

Thus, sex as a reproductive medium has been in past generations. However, today sex has changed to a different perspective, moving away from taboos, taking into account that for centuries a long list of religious, moral, and social precepts was built that were intended to control and regulate sexual behavior between men and women based on the evidence that sexual relations inevitably brought about, by its very nature, pregnancy and the birth of children.

Under this premise, each human group undertook the task of establishing rules and conditions to regulate the exercise of a private activity that directly impacted society's economic and political foundations. Till the date,
