Author

Gene Allen Hecker

Gene Allen Hecker is a student of theology and an avid reader of T.F. Torrance as well as James B Torrance, C. Baxter Kruger and many others. He has authored two books, “Why, the questions That reveal why you were born” and “A Primer For The Trinitarian Gospel in plain words” He has held basic theology discussion class in his church. Because of his life experiences, Hecker has a heart for those who had negative experiences in their lives and feel that they don’t amount to much and have allowed the world to define who they are. His heartfelt desire is to show them that their true identity is in Christ and that they are greatly loved by the Father.

    INTRODUCTION

Who are you? Have you ever asked yourself that question? I have. Do you and I have an identity in this world? If you or I passed away tomorrow, would it make a difference to the world? Would we be like a drop of water cast into the ocean, totally absorbed but never observed? Oh sure, friends, loved ones and relatives would miss us and perhaps we might leave a hole in their hearts for a while, but in the greater scheme of things, who else would care or even take note of our passing?

Now if that sounds pretty dreary, take heart, there is One who cares! He cares so much that He died to give you and me a new identity. More on that later. In the succeeding chapters, I will attempt to flesh out the deeper meaning of our life on this earth and its creator.

    Stay tuned!

    WHO ARE YOU?

From the start of our lives, we are haunted by the question of identity. Who am I? Why am I here? What is my reason? What is my value? Identity is
