YOUR LOVE

When i feel your love god seems to set me free

and i feel loved as never before

and the shackles of inequality break beckoning the spirit to open doors

and courage flows through me and puissance runs warm in my veins

and doors open in mediocrity and shame

and reinventing a new me i am surrounded in discovery

of self love,growing inside of me losing the shackles within my femininity

and love is as infinity when i look in your eyes

and my passion overflows seeming to touch the sky

`no joy is sweeter no other love to soothe my haste

then your love in the warmth of grace

A CHILD’S PRAYER

It’s time to sleep, and fastidiously i pray for god to wake us for one more day,

and for this simple prayer i give him glory

for plaudit and peace in the midst of my story,

and to bring joy to the human race and guide tomorrow in his will and grace…..

I pray you will answer O’lord, this prayer within,

and give me the strength to begin again

with laughter in each day, to guide the way,

to a better tomorrow in the midst of sorrow

and if i stumble in haste thank you lord for grace

and the joy it brings to a specious face………

THE DREAM IS WAKING

The dream is waking and joy takes me away in the will of god to a beautiful day

and opening my eyes preciosity looks through me loosing the chains of inequality

for my dream is waking from mediocrity in glory in the will of god in my story

and my plight is clear and my journey give purpose for my living

and gives purpose for the master’s grace through the struggles of a black face

and impunity guides me and mercy soothes my haste

and suddenly i am free to run my race

and with every step i take the dream reinvents a new beginning for me

a new discovery to free the woman looking through me.

NIGHT SKIES……...

The moon rages seeming to feel me within

as a long ago lover in a sacred friend,

and the star glows feeling untold

calling my madness out of the cold,

and the muse titillates the memory of thee

as a lost soul assiduous to be free,

and the spirit of poetry comes upon me in a smile of glee

with a poem to break the shackles free

and peace is endless as midnight summer dream

and joy cometh and the eagle spreads her wings

over the land of the free and the home of the brave,

rising the day in the beauty of the sun ray……….

STORM

Thunder speaks in lascivious passion

from a timidity of broken clouds

and weeping willows cry and tree limbs bow

and titillating as dreams teardrops tell of redemption

and clouds cry in laughter and lovers run after

and rain pounds gently upon my windowsill

quivering my flesh as feelings heal,

and thunder is the heartbeat, that placates my body heat,

and the muse calls my name in the beauty of rain

and specious as a little child my weary eyes smile

giving god the glory in the midst of my story…….

SISTER

(The mind of a dreamer)

i am specious, lovely, lascivious, and sensuous in my sexy

I am omnipotent, smart, savvy, altruistic and realistic in my femininity.

and i am cunning, irresistible, fresh, alluring and delicious and i make things happen for me

cause i’m real, about freedom flowing through me

for i am who i am, made by god to be loved cherished and honored inside of me

and to live life up and love this life inside of me

and to reinvent from the past and lead the way to a future of hope with my man

and inspire preciosity and give impunity through the touch of my hand

for i am a tower of strength to the children

and a conqueror through my love,

and` a mother through the warmth of my muliebrity

always discovering freedom within equality

LOVED BY GOD……

I feel loved by God when i see the stars refulgenting

and i feel the shiver of the wind

and redemption is easy among friends

and just looking at creation and the unpredictable joy in this thing we call love;

I feel loved by god with every breath I take under the stars above….

and his muse touches me and the sweetest spirit looks through me

and i am marveled by the beauty of a tree

and joy is endless looking at the honey bee.

Love is easy and life is free

and there is no other cross to bare and I change my circumstance because I care…

and there is no mediocrity in my equality

just a peaceful existence in humanity…..

YOUNG LOVE

It is love in spring pickin wild mountain berries

and horseback riding though scenic trails

and skinny dipping counting pennies in wishing wells

and love is easy and life is free sharing a lovely day just you and me…..

and trees grow taller than mountains and freshet flow bountiful into streams

and joy is so sweet in the American Dream….

and discovering love we found beauty thine eyes had never seen

walking down a wedding aisle in a dream……

and we feel, we share, we touch, and we pray

believing, receiving, accepting God’s unconditional love today…

and doves take flight into a beautiful night….

In a story of love and glory……

PRAISE….

God gave me a reason to give him praise

and to say thank you one hundred ways

for the glow of the moon and for the breeze of the wind,

for simple joy just among friends

and for the many blessings he has bestowed upon me

and for justice, impunity and preciosity loosening the shackles of inequality

and for the sweetest joy and the purest grace

and a smile a family brings to a specious face

Yes god gave me a reason to love this cross i bear,

through redemption in joy in the power of a prayer……...

ME…..

I am no longer apologetic for my shyness,

nor my demure, no longer will i be embarrassed for the length of my dresses

or my high steppin stilettos or the bangles and beads that adorn my face,

or the way i praise up on god in grace,

no longer will will i shy away from my puissance, when i am risque

and complicated and the world’s sees me just as i am,

and the big, big, world i call home in tumbleweed valley where city girls room,

and i will give glory to God for my beautiful creation,

and the glorious freedom he has given me

and the beautiful woman growing within me……...

A PRAYER TO THE MASTER……

I need thee O’lord in the wee hours of despair

when reasoning is complicated and life is obfuscating

and i feel adiaphorous, about the dreamer looking through my me

Where is joy in the land of the free…..

I need thee O’lord in the wee hours of despair

when the shackles are heavy and joy for nought

I need thee O’ lord to hear thee and shine mercy upon my heart

and lead me to subterfuge and a new start….

and a new way to guide my precious feet

and hear the muse of my heart beat….

Come swiftly and lift the cross off of thee

on the journey to freedom inside of me ……..

A BLESSING IN RAIN………..

The rain is mellow as the heartbeat of my man

refulgenting as a sun ray, awaking a beautiful day.

In a shower of joy he gives life to me;

acquiesced as the muse looking through me

and placating me and loving me i feel purity

joined by god within my sexuality.

He bridges the schism of inequality

giving strength to my femininity,

through god living in me and his wondrous will shining on through me;

thats tells me to reach up, step out, and lead the way

and listen to my heart and let him have his way.

I blossom as a tree standing in the storm

through the wind and the rain, in his arms;

now I will look for the rainbow, after the storm to guide me

to receive a blessing God has for me.

LOVE ME

let me take you on a journey through the spaces of my mind

through country roads and city streets in one moment in time

and stop on eternity under the flash of the neon signs

and cherish the love given mankind

We will discover laughter and invent a love story

through the back alleys and viaducts on our road to glory

and our love will grow as preciosity in time
