The Masquerade Ball of Life: Therapeutic Poetic Verse Reflecting Majestic and Mysterious Interactions
()
About this ebook
Gerald continues to use poetry to get his views across to a broad audience in hopes some will receive a message that will allow them to grow intellectually and spiritually. Over the past few years, he has learned that many individuals have been turned away from poetry by the simple fact that they dont understand it, they cant relate to it, or that it serves no purpose in their lives. Gerald has resolved those types of issues by making his brand of poetry easy to read and comprehend.

Acknowledgments
I would like to extend my sincerest thanks and gratitude to all of my friends and readers who have supported me since the publication of my first book and the other two which followed. With my previous books My Poetic Journey’,
A Reflection of Life and
Listen to my Soul", I have received recognition from around the world and have received the ‘Jessie Redman Faust Award’ for Poetry. The journey has truly been a blessing with the people I’ve met and helped along the way. I again give special thanks to the Lord above, who gave me a second chance when I was two days away from death. He alone healed my body and gave me the vision and strength to again share my talents to write about life. And again I wish to thank all of you for the continued encouragement and believing in my goal to give insight to issues of life.
As always I wish to give special thanks to my circle of readers Dr. Marlene Evans, Rudy Lozano, James Mitchell, Beverly Haynes, Odessa Cleveland and Linda Garcia for their support and input. Your opinions either good or bad meant the world to me in building the foundation and inspiration of my writings.

Book Reviews
Having read poetry for the last 5 years and learning how to understand what I read has resulted in me understanding me in so many ways. At 67 I have learned most of my right and wrong decisions, that, I have made because of this poetry. Learning to go deep into the message of each poem gives you so much insight about yourself and I enjoy the changes I have made about life. I’m not done, but this poetry is the vehicle that will transport me to further personal growth. Reading this poetry gives you a precise understanding
where you stand in life with yourself.

41893.pngGerald’s poetry tells stories. As Gerald says, it’s not your Jack and Jill poetry
, not the poetry you will read to your grandchildren
! Easy to read and each one is better than the last. Keeping true to his style, the stories get better and better.
