My name is Mark Whitney and I have been on Amazon since 2016. I published a book about alcoholism and a couple of childrens books. I only sold a couple of copies at first so I got discouraged and moved on to something else like I always do.  Little did I know that a pandemic was going to hit and I would be forced to turn to being an author after I retired. I was 62 at the time and was afraid of getting sick so I took retirement but needed something to supplement my income. I had been reading about being an author and using short stories to promote my online Ministry. I started studying amazon kindle and learned from webinars, websites and emails about writing books for a side hustle.
