The chapter headings are there in case you would like to read along in the original book as you read through the letters from Alexia and her friends.

The original book and this book of letters are designed so that you do not need both books to understand the story. You can read this book of letters without the original book and you will understand the storyline just fine.

But, if you would like to, it would be great fun to read the two books side by side!

The Letters were originally designed to go along with a subscription project on Kickstarter, which is why the letters are arranged as they are. Two letters a month, so one chapter a month, spaced out over a year.

Chapter 1 - The Trunk and the Pebbles

Dearest friend!

Do you remember me? I’m Alexia, the pink fairy. And I am back to tell you more about the adventures that Sally and Abby have in our world.

It is so wonderful to be writing to you again! It has been a while, hasn’t it?

I was so relieved when the pirates were defeated and Sally, Abby, and Layla all returned safely to the castle. 

I was so sad to see Sally leave, even though I knew that I would most definitely see her again. And very soon. Because I knew that her mother and her grandmother wanted nothing more than to return home themselves.

I knew that once Sally returned home to them and told them of the dangers that had transpired here, that the first thing they would want to do would be to come home.

They would want to come home to where they were from. Back to the castle. Back home to me and the garden, and to see the other fairies. Because we were their true friends, just like you are now.

But before I tell you of our next great adventure, let me ask Sally to tell you about what happened when she went back to her mother and grandmother.
