Paul Springsteen

Paul Springsteen is someone that grew up in a medium sized town in Texas located in the united states. He went into the military upon graduating high school.  Though it didn't last long he did get an honorable discharge because of medical reasons. After this he went to the local college of his home town.  There he got a master's degree in physics. Due to illness he had a hard time in the job market before he discovered the joys of writing and wishes to spend his time writing stories for the forseeable future.  This came about from a strange origin.  From D&D of all places.  He kept feeling like he was getting shafted from playing stories.  So he pushed himself to write his own stories and enjoyed it. His stance on writing though is that he doesn't write to whatever is the it thing in the market.  Instead he has a particular way the story is supposed to go in his head and follows that.  So the reader should be aware that even killing the protagonist and having the bad guy win is a possible way things could happen in the story in the future.

    Killer's Three - Paul Springsteen

Disclaimer:  This is purely a work of fiction.  Any connection between this work and real life events, people, or places is sheer coincidence.

    Chapter 1

Multiple wagons in the caravan trudged through the dark forest.  It was difficult to see as the sunlight was obscured by some manner of canopy.  Guided by the yergal Yitten they continued through the forest.  Coming to a halt suddenly.

Bai Shee was in the wagon with Kyu Hee.  They were talking about the normal girl things.  Bai Shee thought that her wider blade cut better when swinging than the bangseong longsword.  The wider end of the two-handed blade was better for swinging.  Kyu Hee thought that the bangseong longsword was better for stabbing.  It was made from a very durable steel by Dong Tech.  In a quick way to adjust to the new world that they lived in.  They adapted in a short order.

Bai Shee walked out of her wagon to see why the wagons had stopped.  It could be all manner of things.  Her wagon was a little ways back behind the lead wagon of the caravan where Yitten was acting as a spotter.

She was immediately caught with the feeling that she was not alone.  Though that had to be true.  She was there with all of those in the caravan.  Some of them must have been watching her.  Though they were a little bit of cowards, always relying on Tay Gae, Yitten, Bai Shee, Bo Geun, and Kyu Hee to do everything.

Bai Shee saw Yitten walk out of the lead caravan where he was acting as something of a guide.  Hey, Yitten.  Why did we stop?  Bai Shee yelled out toward Yitten.  He turned around and acted like he was shocked with an expression that she rarely had seen before.  Yitten was a yergal that stood around 3 and a half feet tall.  He was covered in black fur that covered his body with large black eyes.  The eyes must have covered about a fifth of his face.  They were large and completely black.  The yergal had claws that were about 3 to 5 inches long, depending if he decided to trim them.  The finger that he used to fire the rifle that was on his back was cut shorter than the others.

Go back in your wagon if you are going to be so loud,  Yitten said before regaining himself.  We are not alone.

What the hell are you talking about.  This is another forest out in the middle of nowhere.  Bai Shee said.

Yitten turned around, looking around.  He must have seen more than she had with the yergal eyesight that was much better than human eyesight.  We mean no harm.  Yitten said but in yergal.  Bai Shee had started to pick up on the language.  Though what she heard was much different and was broken up only understanding a few words.

Oh, are there yergal around here?  I don't see anything?  Bai Shee said.  She was a little bit bored and looked at her arm that was covered in scratches and tiny scars.

Then a figure that was covered in black fur emerged from the forest.  She didn't realize that he was there.  Or maybe it was a woman.  Hey, greetings.  Bai Shee said in broken yergal.

The figure didn't seem to really look at Bai Shee.  It had a bow and arrow.  These are strange creatures that you bring with you.  The yergal said.  Yitten, what are these things.

Yitten looked at the yergal.  Xo min, these are humans.  Remember that I was exploring far from Zilt to charter new lands.  I came across their city.  They are very advanced.  Right now, they are trying to explore and figure out the land for themselves.

Xo Min looked at Bai Shee.  Are you sure that they can be trusted?  She brought up her arms and made a couple of gestures.  Everything was still.

Yitten said.  Yes, they seem like they are good people.

Bai Shee said.  If I wanted you to be dead, you would be dead.  In yergal.  Yitten shot her a look that was in disbelief.  Bai Shee smiled at Yitten.

Learn to read the situation,  Yitten said.  Then he turned toward Xo Min.  I'm sorry she can be a little brash at times.

She didn't seem to get angry or anything.  It looks like her blood pressure didn't increase.  I have been watching her blood vessels.  If this creature has that sort of thing.  Xo Min said.  She was probably 30 feet from Bai Shee.  They talked at a comfortable volume, and it was kind of difficult for Bai Shee to hear.

I assure you that you can trust them.  The leader of this group said that he wanted to establish an embassy.  Yitten said.  Just then, Mija peeked from around the lead wagon.  He started to walk out to greet Xo Min.  A lot of the people in the expedition started to learn Yergal from Yitten.  He made an effort to try to teach them while they were in camp for the night.

Are you the leader of this group?  Xo Min asked.

I am.  It is a pleasure to meet you Xo Min.  I was listening from inside the wagon.  Mi Ja said.  Don't pay much attention to Bai Shee.  I have seen what you yergal are capable of.

Xo Min paused and looked around.  Follow.  We will guide you to Yilt.  If you want to establish a means of contact between our peoples, we will take you to the head merchant.  Xo min said in yergal and started to make gestures with her hands.  About 73 yergal came out from the woods.  Bai Shee didn't realize that there were so many of them there.

Hey, I guess that if you wanted me dead, I would be dead.  Bai Shee said as she chuckled at the end.

They guided them on the trail to Zilt.  Though it was clear as they traveled that the group was watching them and studying them along the way there.  Bai Shee went back to her wagon to have it take her to the city of zilt.

    Chapter 2

Bai Shee decided that she wanted to walk outside of the wagon as they entered Zilt.  Kyu Hee decided to join her along with Bo Geun and Tay Gae.  Yitten was apart from them as he was something of a guide for the expedition, and he was the yergal in the group that kept the other yergal from wanting to dispatch with them.  Having a yergal among them probably was what kept the yergal from dispatching with the expedition.

They traveled at something of a slow pace.  There were 74 yergal that were around them and escorting them.  The yergal were armed with spears and bows.  As they walked, the forest began to peel away.  Before them, they started to see buildings in the distance.  Buildings that were made of wood seemed to be stacked on top of each other.

No doubt this was because of the yergal ability to climb easily was that they had structures that you were meant to climb to get to the upper rungs.  Some of the buildings didn't even have doors at ground level.  You had to climb and scale the building just to be able to get to the second floor.  The buildings seemed to be made from the surrounding trees.  Though they were shaped in a way that would prove to allow the construction of buildings.

The buildings seemed to have something of a pulley system.  So if a yergal needed to carry something, they would put something in the pulley system with a bucket that they could hoist up what they would be carrying when they got to the upper floor.  Which to them was something of the base floor.  Bai Shee didn't know what they could have on the bottom floor.  It probably wasn't wasted
