It is extremely difficult to pinpoint the specific reasons why we have become the way we are but no matter who you are and where you came from, we all

    Me

All I ever wanted to be in life was successful. I thought if I worked hard, kept my focus and gave my all at whatever it was that I was doing, I would have the success I greatly desired. Well, I’ve found out this isn’t always the case. Sure I agree and support the things I mentioned above but recently I’ve learned that things in life happen that either directly affects you or the things around you that you simply can’t control. All you can do in situations like these is pray to God for guidance and ride the turbulent waves of life to the best of your abilities.

I suppose if you were to use three words from the English language to describe the type of person I am; introvert, quiet and serious would be the best adjectives to use. Each of these identifiers in essence has molded me into the person I have become. With this, the people I have come in contact with, whether they be people I’ve known for a very long time or for a short while, I’m sure they all will agree that I am a mysterious person to know.

I consider myself to be introvert because I’m pretty much to myself. For the first thirteen years of my life I grew up as an only child so I would assume this might have something to do with it. For the first half of my life I didn’t have any brothers or sisters to interact with. Whether it be with playing a game, sharing a bedroom or even arguing over something trivial like whose turn it was to wash the dishes, I didn’t have this sibling interaction that can be a determining factor if an individual will have an extrovert or an introvert personality. What’s wrong with being an introvert? Many people in this world are introverted and I’m sure they are happy and lead fulfilling lives. Not everyone can have an outgoing personality and carry on meaningful or even the typical small talk at social events with just about every person they come in contact with. Now I’m not saying that each and every individual should not learn how to interact with people in an environment where it’s required such as at a business function or at a job interview, all I’m suggesting is some people in the world were meant to be extroverted and some were meant to be introverted.

Quiet is the second adjective I used to describe the type of person I am. To clarify, I do not like to share my personal business and or feelings with just anyone I interact with. I don’t know, for me I find two things in life to be sacred. The first is a person’s personal matters whether it be their ambitions, fears, likes, dislikes or whatever piece of personal information it is that pertains to that specific individual, certain things just can’t be shared with just anyone. The second thing I find sacred are birthdays. I don’t have a specific reason why I think birthdays should be sacred but I feel in life any individual can go through and put up with soooooo much CRAP 364 days a year (365 days if it happens to be a leap year) that each and every individual should have a day where they can be made to feel special. Where on that one day everyone and everything around them caters to their desires and wants, what better day than on their birthday.

Serious is the third adjective I mentioned that describes the type of person I am. Everyone has their own interpretation of what they expect and picture a serious person to be but let me just make it clear that I am not some stiff, prudish, uptight guy. I just believe that when it’s time to do something that requires careful and close attention to be paid to it whatever it may be, it should be done in a precise and stern manner. You could say I believe in the saying; You work hard you play hard. Whenever I do something that requires a lot of time, effort, and extreme diligence, I like to treat myself to something I enjoy afterwards. Take for instance my enjoyment of movies. I lovvvvvvve movies!!!!!!!!! I can sit down late at night say around eleven and I can stay up until seven or eight the next morning watching several movies back to back. That’s one of my guilty pleasures and for those who may find this to be a little extreme; don’t we all have a guilty pleasure that we secretly enjoy?

Overall I think it’s safe to say each and every individual has closely guarded secrets about themselves. Whether they are embarrassing, forbidden, personal or even secrets that we would consider to be shameful, we all hold secrets inside of us. Whatever a person may keep to
