About this ebook
Get the Summary of Sukhinder Singh Cassidy's Choose Possibility in 20 minutes. Please note: This is a summary & not the original book. Original book introduction: Life is made up of a series of choices. What do you do if one of those choices turns out poorly, especially if it was carefully considered? How do you trust your instinctive decision-making skills and make the next right choice? How do you continue to take risks when, suddenly, your risks are not working out?
Sukhinder Singh Cassidy is one of the most highly regarded and well-respected female tech executives in Silicon Valley, but she’ll be the first to admit that her path to success has been far from linear. She started three companies that have done exceedingly well, including theBoardlist (an organization designed to promote and place women onto corporate boards), and she just served as president of StubHub, which sold earlier this year for $4 billion.

We often get bogged down in the decision-making process because we believe that making the wrong choice will lead to disaster, which distorts our perspective on risk and forces us to choose between safety and growth.
#2
The notion of a single, high-stakes decision causes anxiety because it implies that everything rides on a single roll of the dice. Our fear of losing what we already have is stronger than our desire for potential but uncertain gains.
#3
The Myth of the Single Choice is a dangerous belief that holds people back from taking risks and achieving their goals. The truth is that achieving dreams and goals usually comes from a series of well-timed choices, large and small.
#4
The good news is that the traditional tracks to success no longer matter as much to millennials and gen zers, who are instead creating individualized, nonlinear career paths.
#5
The author had a series of goals in mind when she set out to build her career, and she took a series of risks to achieve them. As she continued down the path of risk-taking, her goals began to line up with one another, and so did her outcomes.
#6
If your situation is already getting worse, staying put will only make it worse. You have no choice but to take risks if you want things to change. However, if you’re successful and envisioning even greater goals, taking risks becomes more beneficial.
#7
It can be extremely difficult to leave a job that you’ve been doing for years, especially if you’ve built strong client relationships. However, if you want to grow and expand, you must first let
