Chapter 1

Temptation.

That was what drew her back to the heart of the forest. Kirsten was spotting more and more creatures that were out of place, the numbers were increasing, also the size. The numbers were clear to see, from observing two or three each day Kirsten was now spotting dozens. The increase in size was less obvious and she estimated that the portal must have grown only fractionally. Whereas before mainly insects had been appearing, now she was seeing more and more mammals, at first it was mice, they had always been small enough to enter, but they hadn't to the best of her knowledge.

And I know you are not from here. she whispered as one scurried through the undergrowth beneath her tree, the creature was bigger than a mouse but smaller than a rat, the ears were pointed, not the more usual rounded shape, but what was most striking was the colouration, rather than having greyish-brown fur, the rodent passing below had bold white stripes the full length of its black body.

The days following the mouse sighting she'd seen many different types of mammal, reptile and amphibian, all of them familiar yet different, for some it was the shape of the ears or tail, for others it was the colour of their hair, fur or scales, or the way that they moved. And Kirsten knew that the portal must have grown when she spotted a boar. That it was from the other side was a certainty, the bigger peoples that shared the woodlands with the fairies had hunted the last of the wild pigs to extinction many years before. It also stands taller than twelve inches she thought, therefore it is logical to assume that the gateway is larger now.

For a while she'd blamed her growing compulsion to revisit the portal site on curiosity, she told herself that she needed to investigate solely so that she could confirm her suspicions. Eventually she was forced to admit that despite being curious she really wanted to go because she was horny, and she knew someone in the gloom that could give her what she needed the most. Erek, the giant tarantula, the spider who filled her with fear, the spider who bound her and punished her clit and pussy. Erek who had protected her when he could just as easily have devoured her lithe body.
