Princess Chat Pati and the Mystery of Valley - Abdul Khatib
Prologue
Princess Chat Pati was not able to sleep as the faint sound of dogs barking far away could be heard through late-night darkness. Tear drops were tickling down her wet cheeks while the thoughts of her friend the Ostrich were not stopping. Ostrich, the rare bird was rescued by her recently from grave danger. The dangerous circumstances in which they had accidentally met had revealed how much they cared for each other. From there on, a deep mutual understanding and friendship became quite natural. A friendship that would not mind putting its own life in danger to protect the other.
Not able to sleep, she was just watching the stars in the sky through the large window of her palace room. Clouds of different shapes were slowly passing through one behind another. Some of the clouds appeared like her missing friend.
Suddenly someone knocked on the room door, Princess are you still awake?
, a strong but sweet voice came through the door.
Daddy, Daddy
, she ran towards the door. King slowly pushed open the door, very worried, hearing the sad voice of her daughter.
Princess ran and jumped in to Kings arms. King tightly hugged her and eagerly asked, What happened, why are you crying?
Dad, I am missing my friend. I want the ostrich back
, the princess mumbled".
Dad, I am so afraid of losing my friend
. For a while the king was not sure what to say, and how to comfort his daughter. Then he boldly announced, you need to sleep well, early morning, we are travelling
.
Where?
the princess looked up into the kings eyes and tried to understand his strange words, and noticed there was a glow in his eyes. A ray of hope and charm of happiness appeared on her wet cheeks. King kept on looking into his daughter's eyes.
Really?
, the princess asked excitedly, as if she had read some news flash in the king’s eyes.
Yes, my lovely daughter, we are going to your friend ostrich’s place tomorrow morning
, confirmed the king. Princess tightened her hug and cheered, you are the best dad in the world
.
Princess slept eagerly waiting for the morning. Twinkling stars were still playing hide and seek behind the clouds and nice dreams floated through her minds.

Talking Parrot
Chapter 1 - Talking Parrot
To train the cubs to hunt, the mother will first perform as the cubs look on.
What a nice sunny day!
said Minister-2 the 'Question bank'.
Minister-1 the '6th Sense', looked up at the sky, and announced with excitement, Yes, also do you know, the King is taking us to the Royal Garden today? Looks like the king is in a happy mood
.
Minister-2 did not understand, what are you talking about? What is so special about the Royal Garden?
Minister-1 enthusiastically explained, a few days back, I noticed Royal Garden mango trees are full of ripe mangoes, and I think the king will let us eat those fresh and delicious mangoes
. He further continued, Those are highly organic, and trees were imported from the wonderland, which is famous for the mangoes all over the world
.
King Rasgulla had surprisingly decided to take his five ministers to his Royal Garden. All five ministers got into the royal carriage. After about 2 hours of the journey, Royal carriage reached the garden entrance. Gatekeepers saluted and opened the huge gate making a loud noise. The royal carriage went inside, and King Rasgulla stopped the carriage at some distance from one tall mango tree. King got down the carriage front private cabin and princess Chat Pati followed him. King usually took his princess daughter along with him for special occasions. The tree was full of ripe mangoes. Ministers felt the juice in their mouths, looking at those yellow-red mangoes.
Then the king in his regular strong voice announced, "today I am conducting a test to check how focused each one of you are? And I expect each one of you to have a laser-sharp focus just like an eagle".
King took a pause, looked at all the ministers faces, and further continued, There can be multiple winners of this test and winners can get up to a basket full of delicious mangoes. However, anyone who fails will get the punishment of cleaning the garden for a week
.
All the ministers got puzzled, but were eager to know how this ‘focus test' will be conducted and what are its intricacies?
King Rasgulla looked around for a stick, and he marked a small square box on the ground. King started explaining the rules "This test is all about focusing on the bird and winning Mangoes. You have to stand in this square box and locate the
