A GENERAL OVERVIEW

If you have purchased this book, chances are that you have watched professional wrestling on television at one time or another. The PANDEMONIUM WRESTLING is much the same as any wrestling organization you have seen on television.  But unlike the organizations you see in television, the Pandemonium Wrestling is a non-choreographed organization. None of the results are predetermined and all of the action is real. The wrestlers in this federation share a common goal to become the heavyweight champion of the world, and they will take great pleasure in destroying anyone they meet along the way.

Wrestlers in this federation come from all parts of the globe. They vary in size, weight, strength, and wrestling styles. Some capitalize on their weight advantage and employ sumo wrestling tactics. Other wrestlers rely on brute force or aerial tactics to gain victory over their opponents.

Pandemonium Wrestling does not employ sexual bias. Both women and men can compete against each other without any form of restrictions. This has made for some interesting match-ups as well as surprising champions.

OBJECTIVES

The object of the game is very simple. Wrestlers compete against each other in a square wrestling ring. To win a match, a wrestler must beat his or her opponent by either pinning their shoulders to the mat for a three-count or forcing him or her to submit. A victory is gained if the opponent exits the ring and does not re-enter by a ten-count, or if he is disqualified by the referee for illegal tactics.

Pandemonium Wrestling uses a standardized rating system to determine championship contenders. Wrestlers battle to gain better positions the rankings. Even so, the current champion is at his or her discretion as to who next opponent might be.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

There are a few simple items you will need to play Pandemonium Wrestling. First, you will need a copy of this book (since you are reading it, you obviously already have that!) You will need some paper and pencils (easy enough so far!) You will also need some standard gaming dice (several d6,d10 and d20... available at most hobby, gaming, and comic book shops.) Finally, you will need some friends to play with (and we hope you have lots!) That is everything you need to enjoy the fun and excitement of Pandemonium Wrestling!

You will also need one person to act a referee for each match. This individual must be familiar with the rules and willing to make impartial decisions when a rules dispute arises.  In all cases, the Referee’s decision is final.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

PANDEMONIUM WRESTLING has a short list of rules and regulations. These rules are strictly enforced by PANDEMONIUM WRESTLING. Officials. However, in the heat of the battle the referee may miss a call or two. Some wrestlers take full advantage of this situation.
