    Anew born baby constantly wakes up in the middle of the night two to three times before dawn to have their milk. Let this bring you back to your father as that newborn baby too, craving His milk. As 1 Peter 2:2-3 says, Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

    When your infant wakes up in the middle of the night and you feed them, feed yourself too. Every day is a new chance to be born again in God’s image and continue to grow in your salvation. You need to feed your spirit just as much as your child needs to be fed. As Psalm 119:147-148 (ERV) advises, I get up early in the morning to pray to you. I trust what you say. Late into the night I stay awake to think about your word. When you hear your infant crying to get your attention, cry unto God about areas of your life that need major attention. While you are changing your infant, let that remind you to always remember to renew your mind every time it pops out thoughts that are of a dirty nature. Apply Romans 12:2, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. And as you renew your mind, fill it with Philippians 4:8, Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praise worthy—think about such things. Enjoy and see your little one growing with you as you grow in the Lord. When you look back and see how your little one has grown so much, you will never have regrets, nor will you say, where did time go? All those times spent in the Lord have never been wasted. They were invested.

    As you go through the month of January, each day when you dress your little one, clothe them around the blood of Jesus and speak the Word of God over them. Declare that you have clothed your little one in the righteous blood of Jesus and this is keeping away any forms of sicknesses, diseases, or anything that is of cursed nature. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole’ (Galatians 3:13 NIV). In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace (Ephesians 1:7 NIV). The righteous blood of Jesus is the right garment throughout any season of the year.

    January 1 (A child’s movement inside the womb)

    A mother starts talking to her little one in the womb and knows her child responds to her voice. The voice becomes so familiar, at times, the baby moves when hearing the mother’s voice. Keep storing the Word of God inside of you, it is life (John 6:63), and every time you speak and make declarations, it moves. The Word will always move towards accomplishing its purpose. As Isaiah 55:10-11 says, As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. The Spirit of God moves over the Word of God to bring life to it. The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life (John 6:63 NIV).

    January 2 (Your child’s voice)

    A little child knows the voice of their parents. Their attention is drawn to the voice of the parent. And if they are old enough, they respond to what their parents want. When your little one starts calling you, as a parent, you respond to their needs. Even as a parent among many other children, you will only listen to your child’s voice, because you know it so well. God only hears the voice of His children who don’t live in sin, and He listens to them. We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. (John 9:31).

    January 3 (A child’s song)

    Sometimes your little one will bubble up words and sing without you even understanding what they are saying. Their tongues are raising up praises and songs unto God. Let that remind you to sing hymns of thanksgiving and praises unto God, whether things are in your favor or not. With a heart in this condition, you can silence your enemies that the devil is using. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger (Psalm 8:2 NIV). A child has nothing and is still content. It’s in the song they compose and sing.

    January 4 (Believing)

    Your little one believes every little thing you tell them, though their imaginations can run wild. You are their truth. Whatever you say to them is the truth. Just like your little one believing and receiving everything you say to them, you should also believe the words of Jesus. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours (Mark 11:24 NIV). Believe like a child by praying without doubts.

    January 5 (Feelings and emotions)

    Your little one’s conscience develops as their emotions and habits develop as early as 10 months. As you make them feel like they belong, you make them feel loved. Involve them in your discussions. Just like you want to involve your child in every aspect of your life, talk to your Heavenly Father about everything. He loves you just like you love your child. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6 NIV). Feel the presence of God everywhere and make it a habit to acknowledge Him all the time. When you acknowledge His presence, you feel Him more.

    January 6 (Developing good habits)

    You know everything about your little one; nothing is hidden from you. You know if they develop bad habits by their behaviors. The moment when you notice those bad habits forming, teach them and help them develop good habits and character instead. Let this teach you that in life God gives you tests so you can see the result of where your position is in life. Knowing that, tell God Psalm 139:23-24 (NIV), Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

    January 7 (Child-like character, Christ-like mind)

    As you enter a new day with your little one, rejoice in the day the Lord has made. Tell Him you are entering His kingdom as you change yourself to have a child-like faith. Live exactly what Matthew 18:3 says, And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Today and all your days, clothe yourself in the character of a child and enter the new day to live the kingdom life.

    January 8 (Humbled beginnings)

    Your little one has the lowest position. It’s a position where they can’t do anything for themselves. They are helpless. It’s a position of humble beginnings. At times God will bring you to that position where you are helpless. This is to humble you so you can depend entirely on God to be restored and put back to the position you were predestined for. You can take that position by depending entirely on the Word of God, claiming what the Word says of you. As Matthew 18:4 (NIV) says, Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Take your kingdom position of humbleness. It’s the beginning of a great ending.

    January 9 (Sheltering, feeding and clothing a child)

    Your little one is indeed a great blessing. They are from God and born into your family. Giving them a home with love is not just an ordinary job that is your duty. As you shelter, clothe and feed them you must keep in mind that you are doing it for Jesus. Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me (Matthew 18:5 NIV). Today wake up and welcome the new day and thank God that you are also welcoming His Son Jesus by welcoming your little one into the new day and taking care of their needs. Praise God, you can now welcome Jesus through your little one.

    January 10 (Soaring higher)

    Those moments when you look at your little one’s face and adore it, give thanks to God that your little one sees His face. See your child as an angel that always sees the face of God. Look after your little one and teach them the knowledge of God’s Word. Then when they grow up they will be able to find their wings within them to soar higher into heaven. They are designed with the strength of an eagle to soar on higher grounds. See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven (Matthew 18:10 NIV).

    January 11 (Blessings)

    Each day wake up and hold your little one in your arms. With a heart full of gratefulness, give thanks to Jesus for blessing the little children already. The Word of God tells us that children are a blessing. You just need to keep that blessing overflowing by imparting the Word of God into their life. And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them (Mark 10:16 NIV).

    January 12 (Keep your child’s blessings overflowing)

    Your little one is in your capable hands whether to bring them to Jesus or not. It’s important to bring them to Jesus every day. Don’t stop them and hinder their growth in Christ. Every day is new with new blessings of life. Since they are already blessed, let that blessing overflow. Get in the Word and speak life into their life. Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belong to such as these (Mark 10:14 NIV).

    January 13 (Living a long life with your child)

    Today and forever give thanks to God for His great promise to you that as long as you are breathing and keeping his commands, you will live a long, happy life with your little one just like He promised in Deuteronomy 4:40, Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time. Children have plenty of time to experience everything they want to do. Enjoy that long life now with your child as you go with their flow of time.

    January 14 (Dressing up a child)

    When you are dressing your little one’s naked body, see how the appearance of their flesh resembles you as the parent. Look deeper into their innocent character and their child-like faith that displays the mind of Christ. The kingdom of God belongs to such as them. Just like how you change your little one every day, change your mind to switch on the light of the Word of God every time dark forces creep in. Maintain the likeness of Christ and look after your outer appearance that houses the Spirit of Jesus Christ. And we, who with unveiled faces reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV).

    January 15 (A child can impress everyone)

    The Word of God holds all position above this earth and is in control. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you (Psalm 119:91 NIV). Just like how you want to impress someone to think the best of you, impress your child with the Word of God. Speak highly of the Word of God, its power of authority, and how it brings forth this universe into existence. When you impress your child with the Word of God, everyone that comes in contact with your child will be impressed with them. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up (Deuteronomy 6:6-7 NIV).

    January 16 (Child training)

    Your little one follows every path you walk on so walk in the Word of God and its direction. Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path (Psalm 119:105 NIV). Your children will follow your example. As a parent, it’s your duty to make the Word of God become a reality in your child’s life. Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it (Proverbs 22:6 New English Translation).

    January 17 (Child training)

    A child needs discipline just as much as love. Spank your child when they are naughty but explain to them with love why you did it. Cuddle them and tell them you will not do it again if they aren’t naughty again. This is living God’s Word in raising your child in the Word. Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away (Proverbs 22:15 NIV). The rod of discipline creates a road to follow for the path of life.

    January 18 (Peace)

    Every day, before you begin the day, sit with the Word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to teach your child through you. Praise God with Psalm 119:165 (NIV), Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing can make them stumble. Dwell
