Children of God are supposed to be prosperous but there is a standard that must be conformed to first and that is the standard of Jesus. God’s own wealth is full of peace, but the unsuspecting victims of the terrible, who are out to make riches at all cost, do not usually know the evil implication of making riches through Satan, until after their initiations. After their initiations, they are slaves to him and are bound to carry out whatever assignments they are detailed to perform.

PREFACE

Jesus incarnated from heaven into order reconcile us with God. He actually accomplished his mission of redemption of man, having paid, through His excruciating painful death on the cross. Before His death however, he established a standard to which everyone that wishes to please God, must conform. Nonetheless, many people do not usually conform to this standard at first, but later in their lives they repent and serve God, whereas, some people do not repent at all. They die and go to hell.

Saul, for example, deviated from God’s standard at first and to him, he thought he was rendering service to God by dehumanizing, oppressing, intimidating, persecuting and also jailing Christians for no just cause. It was after his approval of apostle Stephen’s killing that he was arrested and compelled to conform to God’s standard. See Acts of Apostle, chapter eight from verse one. In this generation of ours’ thousands of souls are moving to hell, on daily basis for not conforming to God’s standard, before they die.

People are no longer thirsty of God’s word, but go after visioners and seers. People no longer love God, but are materialistic and disdainful to Him in return for His love for us. Native doctors have turned their shrines to Pentecostal Churches and the ignorant ones are trooping therein for urgent miracles, wonders and signs.

On the other hand, the genuinely called servants of God have forgotten how they started with God and hence are materialistic too. Another class of ministers nowadays are the ones that consult native doctors to bury miracle working charms in their various churches, in order to attract crowd of desperate ignorant people, who will all perish in hell, if they refuse to repent.

This book is therefore, is on, "Conforming to God’s Standard-The Basis for Successful Christian Living". The book is a book of warning, exposition, inspiration, revelation, motivation and courage, with prayers and prophetic declarations.

The book is not a book of theological analysis but aims at changing lives through God’s word hence, many scriptures were expounded and used to substantiate each teaching. It is not for all sundry but specifically for those who wish to serve God in truth and perfect heart (candidates of heaven.)

CHAPTER ONE

CONFORMING TO JESUS’ STANDARD

IN THE TIME OF TRIALS

Our Lord Jesus Christ incarnated here on earth to redeem man, through a painful death on the cross, from sin of the disobedience that was committed by our father and mother–Adam and Eve. In addition to that, to set a standard of life to which every man is expected to conform, in order to please God and to enter heaven. Oh yes! Jesus is the standard of life Himself and every man, no matter his size, weight, influence or might, must conform to His standard, in order to live a life that is pleasing to God, no wonder Jesus says in the book of John chapter 14v6

"I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the father but by me."

In addition to redemption and establishment of standard, Jesus also went to lock the hell and take possession of the keys and that is to say that He has the keys of heaven and of hell.

"I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive, forevermore. Amen, and I have the keys of hell and of death: Rev 1:18.

Each time I study more about Jesus, I am usually more afraid and that enhances and increases the degree of confidence I have in Him. See Col 1:14-19

MY EXPERIENCE AFTER CONVERSION.

When I was a mystic, I used to have this foolish notion that COSMIC (God) was like the center of a forest that had many link roads leading to the center and the center being the cosmic, (God) but when I came to the knowledge of Christ Jesus, I discovered that what we were studying was fallacious.

After I gave my life, Jesus appeared to me many times and showed me a lot that I cannot completely explain in this work. One night, one of my earthly masters in the secret cult appeared to me in a vision and called my name Bro. Chris, we heard that things are so hard for you now, (Hardship) why don’t you sacrifice your first son, so that we see what we can do to help you? Immediately I reacted, "Prince, I rebuke you in the name of my Lord Jesus". As I thus spoke, the force from my word pushed him So many kilometers away from me that his size reduced to that of a very –small object as I saw him and thereafter there was an absolute quietness and the heaven opened. I heard a voice from above, but the place was too glorious to behold. The Lord showed me a lot of things that He did not allow me to recall and after then I came back to consciousness and the time was 1.00am.

However, the experience was not like that of a dream. The Lord has so much revealed Himself to me that I feel like mounting wings and flying each time I preach the gospel and He ever confirms His presence and His word by signs, wonders and miracles in my ministry, Praise God. See Mark 16:20. NKJV.

My conditions then were so difficult that if I had not had genuine salvation and Jesus taken possession of my life, I would have thought about considering the evil counsel of my then earthly master in the secret cult, but thank God for His grace. I AM SAVED!

I was recounting part of my hardship in the time past to my wife recently and mentioned the word hardship and instantly the Holy Ghost changed it to Internship. I did not hesitate to tell my wife that there was a message that what I referred to as "Hardship" is better referred to as ‘internship’. Although, I was familiar with the terminology, but I have to look up in my dictionary for ascertainment.

Further analysis of this sudden intervention of the Holy Ghost exposed me to the understanding, that ‘internship’ is essentially important in the ministerial growth of every minister. Every renowned minister of God today has one similar story or the
