I Am a Wife: Today's Wisdom for Single Women That Your Mother and Grandma Didn't Tell You About.

About this ebook
This book was written to inspire each reader to think different than the simple norms of the world on how you view your single status. It’s designed to help facilitate faith in an area that may be a challenge for some to even believe in again. In this book you will read stories that I have lived through and challenges I faced living in a modern day society working off of historic data. This book will walk you through the struggles that many women face while being single and give you the wisdom of God in those areas. I am telling the story from a Victorious vantage point, not one where I am hoping or wishing to overcome, I write about how I have already overcome and show you how you can too.

Don’t Sell Yourself Short
E very one of us was created by God, and he made us each unique in our own special way. We were not meant to only be valued by body shape or type. We are spirits that have souls and live in bodies. I can hear the questions rolling in now—What is a soul? Let’s take this one first. Your soul is comprised of your mind, will, and emotions. Yes, that is correct; you have a mind that was made to think by using your frontal lobe, where creations and inventions are made in your brain. Sadly, today, most women have endured so many setbacks, disappointments, and failures in our lifetime that we are on autopilot and don’t even use our minds for what they’re intended for. We wander through life thinking that this experience will be the same as the other one, and then we get in our emotions and let them control the outcome of each and every interaction in our lives. Could it be that we are our own worst enemies or setbacks? Could what we watch on television or listen to on the radio influence the way we think about things, the way we behave based our emotions? Maybe just maybe these tie into how things turn out for us, good or bad. Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) is clear As a man thinketh in his heart so is he,
in this case Woman. Could it be that you think too little or too highly of yourself, making you blind to your own shortcomings? If you haven’t figured it out yet, what I am implying is that your mind and emotions will influence your will. Will you be happy and content? Will he be enough? Will you be enough? Why you? Why not you? All those things are derived from—yes, you guessed it—your soul!
Your body is the vehicle made up of many parts and functions that are ultimately designed to carry out the thoughts and desires that are derived from your heart and mind.
I have intentionally saved the best for last—your spirit. Your spirit could be the very best part of you, but the great thing is you get to choose whose spirit leads and guides you. What I mean is that there are two different spirits that you could allow to lead you. One is the spirit of hate and deceit, which is the enemy of your soul. The other is the Spirit of Truth, which comes from our loving God through his son, Jesus. Depending on which route you choose to follow, just know you must choose; there is not an option to try both and see how things turn out. You are only playing yourself, which will drive you into a deeper hole that you may not be able to get out of. The one spirit will do everything in its power to steal your joy and everything good in your life at the opportune time, just when you thought it was all coming together
