    You Will Be Happier If You Are A Happiness Advocate

    You want Happiness. But do You get Happiness simply by desiring it?

    To get Happiness, one needs to move beyond mere desiring which alone is insufficient most of the times. You desire, You aspire, but You don’t act.

    Act to be happy

    Act as a Happiness Advocate. It is a state-of-being expressed in your acts, gestures, expressions. The Happiness You ‘advocate’, which we call Happiness Advocacy, comes back to You.

    By being a Happiness Advocate You convey to people that it is important to value Happiness. You connect with them to subtly suggest the value of their lives and the rewards of being happy.

    It works this way

    Every time You do this You have an extraordinary opportunity to appreciate life. This is invaluable– by helping others value Happiness, You strengthen your own resolve towards it. You learn to stay on top of situations even before the pang of un-happiness strikes you.

    You practice your preaching

    Just as an instance, imagine an acquaintance of yours not happy about the uncertainty in her career direction. She doesn't know if she is doing what she really wants to do, whether things will fall in place one day. A sincere and non-hypocritical Happiness-Advocacy by You with this acquaintance would enrich your view on life.  This will occur irrespective of the fact that beyond Happiness-Advocacy You may have no 'concrete solution' to her career dilemma.
