About this ebook

Zeke Eng is unlucky in love. Divorced a year ago, he has yet to move on from what ended up being a truly bad decision. His friends keep trying to set him up with men they think will at least give him a night of fun, but Zeke is just not into that. Even with his hesitance to try something new, though, there’s a guy who’s been jogging through the neighborhood in the early mornings, and despite himself, Zeke is intrigued.

Dax Bowie likes to jog in the mornings for exercise. He flirts and smiles and is everything Zeke is not, and Dax loves a challenge. He’s an easy-going guy, but he can’t seem make any headway with Zeke. Trust is a problem and Dax has to figure out how to breach that barrier and become friends, and maybe more. Will Zeke and Dax find some middle ground?

    Divorced: Moving On

    By J.D. Walker

Being single sucked, though recovering from heartbreak might be worse.

It had been over a year, but that relief from being free of a die-hard gold-digger had faded quickly, and left only despair.

Sure, I owned a software development company and made serious money, and, yes, I had known what my ex, Fabian, was like when I met him. He loved money and being treated well. I had no problem with that, because we are who we are, right? He’d never lied about what he wanted, and I thought I would get to share my life with someone who seemed to love me, with my money being a nice bonus. I suppose his big cock hadn’t hurt either—unless I’d wanted it to, euphemistically speaking—he was frickin’ hot and fucked like a demon.

What was worse, though, was finding out that in the end, the man I married had left me…wait for it…for the man who loves me like I need to be loved. Which meant, his new husband was super-wealthy with a home in the Hamptons, a beach house, a chalet in Europe somewhere, and a boat or five. I guess super-wealthy trumped moderately well-off in the love department.

So, in the end, my love and income weren’t enough to satisfy him, and love for Fabian actually meant more than my pocketbook could ever handle, let alone my heart.

Perhaps it made me feel slightly better that he didn’t get anything in the divorce, despite his best efforts, thanks to my lawyer, but that felt hollow. Basically, I was a dumbass and deserved to be single.
