About this ebook

The need for a prayer and fasting 21 day devotional book is not a cliché or a catchy step by step for you to read and enjoy; but it’s a book where we come together to combat the forces of darkness in high places on behalf of the need of children.
This is not a parenting book of any sort. However, the focus is geared on praying for our children regardless how old they may be. As well as a devotional book for you to use on a day to day basis. Devotion is defined as prayers or religious observance.

    REFLECTION:

Minutes prior to December 2019 when the clock almost stroke 12:00 midnight many didn’t see what lies ahead. Neither were we globally prepared. Many people relied on their government, personal wealth, businesses, jobs, economies, and the school system for their every need. Without a shadow of a doubt not too many people can say with all the technology, sciences and medical experts that they had an antidote for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

As Christians we should not be shaken of the times we are in neither should we be moved when we are faced with turbulence on our journey in life. We must be confident that the God we serve is guiding us along the way. Hebrews 10:35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. This scripture reminds us that we must remain flat footed on the word of God which has been placed for us live daily on. As an educator for a number of years this pandemic has personally strengthened my walk with Christ and build a closer understanding of the bible scripture 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. We are required during CDC regulation and nationwide rules and regulation during this pandemic COVID-19 to wear face covering, social distances remaining 6 feet from each other), and consistently wash your hands. Yet, it’s IMPERATIVE for us to continue praying for our world. The mandate that God has placed on all of us as Mother Prayer Scepter readers is to pray for our children and young people. Regardless if you are not biologically a parent we must remain on the prayer wall and pray for our young people who can’t pray for themselves. God has placed you and I over each of their lives to cover and protect them. Children and families are now challenged with teaching their children virtually and may feel unprepared due to lack of educational resources, devices, personal inabilities to assist their children with their school work. As a mother of four school age children I was also faced with the challenge of switching from in-person to virtual instruction. Was it an easy transition? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Was it time consuming? ABSOULETLY! The challenges that comes along with juggling work, home, and teaching our children comes with many rewards but the fuel that keeps us consistent doesn’t comes from our own but from God. Prayer is the link that connects us to our heavenly Father.

The mandate that the Lord has placed on my life during this hour is to decree and declare GLOBAL PROTECTION AND HEALING OVER CHILDREN. I’ve been mandated to Globally stay on the wall in my prayer closet daily for our youth. As I told my congregation the last Sunday of December 2020 Whatever is sent to destroy you will come but it will not stay. Keep your eyes fixed on the LORD.
