About this ebook

Be one with the Bride of the Savior. As brides go, they are always searching the depth of the love of their betrothed. It would not be right for a man to tell his bride, “I told you once already at our wedding, I love you, if it changes, I’ll let you know.” How much more is the love of El- Shaddai.

    Wherever I AM

    Tell me is there

    Hope for me

    Oh Father

    Will it be

    It’s almost over

    The setting sun

    Oh Father

    What I’ve done

    If I ask the question

    Will I hear

    All the answers

    That I fear

    Father where am i

    I cannot see

    If it’s too

    late for me

    I am here

    Lost and alone

    Without hope

    Cold as stone

    Oh Father please

    Will me to be

    Wherever I Am

    That’s where I’ll be

    LEAVING THE SECURE SIDE

    Wherever I Am that’s where i’ll be.

I remember so vividly where I was when this simple phrase was relayed to me; The sixth floor of the Harris County Jail, Houston Texas preparing to enter the Free-world from the Secure Side, October 2003. Understanding the scope of this simple phrase worked to soothe me in my condition of being where I did not want to be. Six months previously I was sent to Texas, 1544 miles away from my birthplace and all my family. Waiting alone for the elevator in the visitation area, I began to sing for joy.

Mark wrote in Chapter One verse 24 through 28 of those who heard the Teacher,

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

If I search further by stepping out in my unknown, I feel I become somewhat hopeless, in darkness, and lacking any source of light or warmth, until the praise songs of the faithfulness of my Father lure my heart into His comforting knowledge, sometimes heard in a simple phrase: Wherever I Am that’s where I’ll be. I am in a place where verbs become nouns and past tense becomes imperfect and perfect is coming and has already come and the I Am is love.

Many questions arise out of the perception of a mere mortal. Everybody wants simple answers, but the deception of the opposer of reality has complicated issues that matter not in simple right and wrong, but in the sophisticated nuances of near truth.

What every generation calls the good ole days is the loss of child-like perception in the adversity of the present which has existed from the beginning. Acquiring the truth, which is contrary to the sanctuary of identity with the end of everything we know as death, overwhelms my coping capacity. Some call this normalcy bias that is when your long-held (adult) perception is opposing reality and causes disbelief of truth.

Lord, teach us to pray, the disciples begged the Son of God. Is it a formula to get Him to listen or for us to begin to be entertained by His thoughts? Will I listen to God if I am distracted? What will I entertain in my thoughts? Must I surrender my entertainment also? Is it my choice to listen? Should I be suspicious of my will to remain ignorant of His ways? Is ignorance bliss or just a willful surrender into foolishness? The fool has said in his heart, Who can know one God?
