She graduated from Biola University in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Cinema & Media Arts Production and a minor in Biblical Studies. As an activist and spiritual wellness advocate, she launched her own podcast, On the Way With J in 2021, that focuses on the intersection of faith, race, mental health, and art. At this virtual table, she invites a community of artists, therapists and church leaders to discuss the journey of navigating the hard and holy things of life together, all beginning with psychological and spiritual self-awareness. She believes her life's calling is to spread the love and hope of Jesus Christ, that every captive is set free and stays free.
