    I

    6:00 A.M.

Every morning soon after the break of dawn, I wake up to begin my morning at Scarlett’s Southside Diner. Located at 3320 Lakeview Ave in Los Angeles, California. My brisk morning walk entices my anticipation because I know a few of my favorite things are waiting to greet me. Scarlett’s diner is lavishly decorated combined with low lighting at certain times of night for romantic reasons. The diner is located in a great neighborhood, the people are friendly, and the waitresses are always aesthetic pleasing to look at.

Every morning, as a creature of habit I order the same thing, a vanilla bean frappuccino topped with whipped cream and caramel. The waitresses here know my order by memory and as I walk into the doors, I’m greeted with a smile as they tell me my order is coming right up.

My mouth watered like a faucet as I watched the waitress sit my vice down on the table in front of me. I almost stroked out, but not from the Frappuccino.

My pupils locked onto her pretty brown iris as she whispered for me to enjoy, with a coy smile on her lush lips. I replied I sure will, but didn’t touch my beverage until she walked away. I had to take a second to admire such a flower.

    INTIMACY

Having no one to love, you find yourself making love to your words. She watches them roll off my tongue, but intimacy never left her plushy lips.
