The protagonist in this novel, Johnathan Odis Smithson, is a ninetey-nine year old rertired plisopher was is awaiting the results of his request for euthanasia. He believes he has no reason to continue his unending pain, so death would be a profound relief.

He awakes to find that, altough he seems to be still living, his pain is gone, and moreover, instesd of pain, he feels pleasure.

Then Johnathan Odis Smithson, nickname Jos, experiences a renewed desire to live, for he is now discoving a new purpose in living, the resolution of the conflict between the Water People and the Land People.

This book is can be considered a sientific fantasy in which the author is asking the reader to accept that, if there are an infinite number of multi-universe, then there are perhaps an infinite number of multi-universes where Jos can find himself on a planet where he has all the talents he needs to accomplish his new ends.

So, readers, use your imaination and enjoy this fantasy.

    THOUGHTS OCCURRING IN

    A WANDERING MIND

    36227.png

    Who am I?

    But why do I ask?

Was I someone before I was born?

And perhaps, together, we will learn

Something of an even more marvelous kind

I had been a highly successful philosopher, with many honors. But, in my many books, I believed that I had said all I could say about the great philosophical questions. And I had lived a rewarding marriage life, and raised six children, but my wife had died before me, and I had also outlived my children. So, since as a philosopher, I believed I had said all I had to say, and as a
