About this ebook
If we are looking for a reason to prove why we exist, if we are looking for a real purpose in our lives, maybe we should ask God to, “Please, use us in some way to be of a help to those in need.” Could it be that, as people lift their discouraged voices to God to send someone to help them, that God is hearing their prayers, answering them, and sending you, to be used by God to meet their financial needs? We each have a purpose in life. This could be yours!
Many Christians really do want their lives to bring glory to God before they depart this world and go to heaven. They are very grateful for all that God has given to them. They want their very short journey in this world to count for God, to glorify God, and be of benefit to others. The words of missionary Jim Elliott rings loud and true in their hearts when he said, “He is no fool to give what he cannot keep in order to gain what he cannot lose.” Their daily prayer to God is that He would use their lives, in some way, to bring glory to Himself and benefit to those in great need. Maybe their banner verse comes from Matthew 5:16 which says, “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.”
If this is the sort of person you would like to be, then this story is about you. It’s about everyone who really, truly, deep in their hearts, want to be used by God to help others in their time of need.

who this author has seen with, not only the external eyes, but much more importantly, with the eyes of the heart. Larry and Betty Dutton have been such a blessing to everyone whom their lives have touched, in their journey called life.
As Betty has said so many times, The blessings that God has given to us are the blessings that we give to others.
We all love you and thank you so very much for the blessings of your lives upon us!
Foreword
42486.pngT imely, relevant and biblical.
Those are the words that will come to mind as you read James A. Rousseau Jr.’s latest book, The Purity of Genero sity .
Timely in the sense that we are entering an era in western culture, and around the world, where the forces of evil are rising up in ways never before seen in the United States of America and around the globe.
Relevant in that the events of the last five months are a precursor to what Mr. Rousseau describes, even as agents of darkness are gathering all around us bringing violence, chaos, confusion, hatred, and destruction. In Isaiah 5:20-21 God declares, Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!
Yet, that is exactly what is happening throughout our society.
Mr. Rousseau reminds all believers what their true responsibility is, even as we see God’s Word coming true right before our eyes.
As always, Mr. Rousseau keeps it biblical. The Bible tells us exactly what is coming to this world and, especially, to believers in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. In addition, the Bible also tells us how believers ought to be living their lives: glorifying God and helping our fellow human beings whenever they are in need. Mr. Rousseau weaves this theme throughout The Purity of Generosity, reminding the reader of what is really important during their short time here on the earth.
Though this is his fourth book in Mr. Rousseau’s series, he takes us back to an interesting interlude just prior to wicked Vladimir’s appearance and attack on the Christians. In doing so, Mr. Rousseau more fully develops all of the characters found in the previous books and helps us to consider how God might be calling each one of us to our individual Destiny.
It has been a blessing for me to, once again, be asked to edit Mr. Rousseau’s latest work, The Purity of Generosity. May the Lord help each reader to see how He is calling all believers to their destiny of service to others.

Gary T. Dromi, Ph.D.

Introduction
42486.pngT he cold, frigid, wax-like faces of a thousand people, blankly stare out into their own vast universe of nothingness. They are in absolute shock, stunned to the point of paralysis, wondering what they can do now to improve the plight that they all have in common. For you see, they all share in the fellowship of their precarious situation. They are all unemployed! Employers, fearing for their own businesses, are not hiring. They are laying off more and more employees, each day, in an effort to keep their businesses alive.
My very dear reader, we are all too familiar with the most recent events, which have impacted the lives of everyone, in one form or another, in the year 2020. The purpose of this story is to seek to deal with one of these catastrophic events, poverty, and show how we can be of a help to those who are in desperate need of a helping hand.
Permit me, now, to take you by the hand and lead you down the corridors of life, in order that we may all get a thorough look at the world of the poor and unemployed. As we walk to the unemployment office, we meet a man named Joseph Peters, who has just lost his job and is filled with worry and anxiety. He has a family, complete with a wife and children. They are hungry. They need clothes. They may be in poor health. They live in a rented house and the owner is leaning heavily on them to either pay the rent or vacate the property. They have nowhere else to go! Homeless shelters are already filled. Food pantries have been exhausted of their contents. Medications for the sick were depleted a long time ago, and more and more of the unemployed are getting sick every day. Joseph Peters cries out to God, with tears cascading down his cheeks like a relentless waterfall, he says to God, What can I do?
It is at this time that we arrive at the unemployment office. We soon realize that there is a, seemingly, endless line of people who add their own notes of grief, sadness, and sorrow to this melancholy song of depression. This is a song that is heavily written, as with a weighted iron pen, upon their weary, haggard faces.
As we follow Joseph to the end of the line, darkness paints the sky. Rumbling thunder causes the ground beneath our feet to tremble, as if with fear. Horrifying claps of thunder cause each person to cringe and curl up into a standing, life-less statue. A torrential, cold rain comes hammering down upon Joseph and
