A Whole Lotta S**T - Laye Da Writer
Dark Side
Come, and let us talk for a moment or two
I know this may seem just out the blue
But, I have a story, I just have to tell
When I’m done, you may ask me to sell
See, I’m going to take you to a place of no light
A place so dark, even the ideas aren’t bright
I know you’re trying to imagine this place
Just turn off the light, and cover your face
Now that I have your attention, don’t blink
He’s coming so fast, so don’t think
Just move to the left, then back to the right
You’re moving so damn fast, out of fright
As you feel terror and tremble, go
ahead and ask that question
Soon as you ask, I’ll give the confession
The him you’re trying to flee from, is me
Why, you ask, keep going and you’ll see
In this dark place you entered, I control all
Here, there is nothing to catch thee as you fall
Deep down into this abyss
Only to see the things, I promise you won’t miss
You’ve taken this ride with me, so I can
return you back to the world
I tried to tell you this would make you twirl
Next time you’ll be more cautious
and pay attention to detail
Because if you reenter, I don’t think you’ll
make it back from where you fell
Finishing the Job
Hello there, it’s been a while since we had a chance to talk
I guess I should confess, but first let’s take a walk
Remember how I told you about that thing
Maybe I’ll give you a refresher and maybe a bell will ring
Scene is,
Car,
Shattered windows,
Blood all over the seats and curb,
Tell me you remember this
Yes?
Well, things got worst
Keep in mind first
The moment you came back down this road, you knew
So, as the situation ended, my urge grew
I found myself outside the window of
the one that hurt me deep
Didn’t see myself as a pervert in the
night nor menacing creep
Really, I just figured after canceling
one, might as well take another
Needed to plan and retrieve the perfect cover
Aiming to take this horrible person, (well to me) out
Call it playing God, but I had reasons to go about
Catch her coming out one night, and tie her up
Nah, maybe I’ll see her out and about
and slip something in her cup
Why not just kick the door in and put a bullet in her head,
All this consideration, for a person I wanted dead
A hold you say, I wouldn’t brush that away
All things said, I had my approach and knew the day
Here waiting in the bushes with a knife
and an alcohol drenched pad
I see her hit the sidewalk with blissful
steps, me overthinking bad
All or nothing at this point, right
The opportunity to end this, so bright
It happened,
I grabbed her,
But why didn’t she scream
I mean you could ask her yourself
BUT,
What’d I do with her?
TO BE CONTINUED…
Gone, Forever!
Oh hi there, I see you’re back for more
Now that I have you, there’s no turning back
You decided to drift down my road
and not in a sense of bore
Strap up, because this time we’re going on a deeper track
I let you in this world of mine, but never gave you a name
Sit back, that’ll come in due time
But in the end, I don’t want to be the one you blame
Because when we’re done this time
around, I’ll leave you with a chime
Are you ready
Can you handle it
I’m not going steady
Let’s just go over the top a bit
Load the gun, put it in my hand
Tell me where to aim
Move out the way, don’t you dare stand
POW!
Now who’s to blame,
I didn’t think the bullet would go that far
And they say bullets don’t have a name
But how’d it find her traveling in that car
I guess you can say I’m free, but I need someone to frame
Why not blame whoever she was riding with
Hell I wasn’t even near the scene of the crime
The blow to the head hit her so swift
So swift, I peeked to check the time
Laying there in the car lifeless, with a stare
You and I both know, she was dead way before she was shot
I only say that because who could
possibly strip someone that bare
Sitting here rubbing my hands, laughing
at my well thought plot
Guess what?
You know, now you’re involved too
How is that?
I just made you an accessory, haha
Came out of the blue
Now as we talk this and that
