About this ebook

This series of poems tell the story of a woman who hopes that her recurring dreams are a sign from God, assuring her that life will turn around for the better. She has demanded that her higher power releases her from a cycle of abuse and suicidal thought. In her search for purpose, she discovers the law of attraction and The Kybalion. By applying this new way of thinking, she escapes her abuser, attracts a mystical lover, and becomes the catalyst for the apocalypse.

    I woke up

    once the pendulum

    swung

    breaking the fourth wall.

This isn't the first time I've had this dream

    as I recall.

I don't know what it means

    but I'd like to.

    I would ask God

but he hasn't answered my calls

    in a while.

What did I do to offend Him?

I sold my soul to Him

    and He paid

    in blood and in rage.

    I'm locked inside a cage

and only sleep gives an escape.

    Could He be answering

    and I'm not listening

    correctly?

    Is he saying

that it’s time I'd be freed

    Is this the message

    hidden in cryptic imagery?

    I have so many questions

    so much doubt

    I'll write my problems
