As the stars above

Filled with ambition, dreams

And unconditional love

I had visions of a future where the

Binds of stagnation held no power

I truly believed that if I preoccupied myself

Then the forces of darkness would manifest into cowards

I worked tiresomely while following the path unpaved

But dismal figures constantly arose with bitterness to spray

Bombarding me with ignorance, malice and horrendous disgust

What’s the point of aspiring for more when you’re destined to become just like us…?!
