About this ebook

Soaring in Heavenly Places was written because of a dream, In the dream some words were spoken to me from the Lord. He said he was going to “enlarge” my territory. As I began seeking the Lord about the dream, he began to enlarge (enlighten) me with his word. I realized that the dream had a “spiritual” meaning, and not a “natural” meaning. God began revealing himself to me in a greater measure, and caused me to soar in heavenly places in the spirit. He began to enlarge my territory (from within). A greater understanding of the Word of God began to take place in my mind. As I began writing, God began to “add” or “expand” the knowledge of the Word.

    A Law Written in

    the Heart

J eremiah prophesied, Behold the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah (Jeremiah 31:31 KJV). And he prophesied, After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people (Jeremiah 31:33 KJV). God has written his law on the tables of our heart (minds). This is the New Law or New Covenant! It is a law that is written on our hearts instead of tables of stone.

Paul said basically the same thing Jeremiah prophesied: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people (Hebrews 8:10 KJV). He called it A New Covenant, and he called the first covenant that God made Old. He also said, For that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. It is written in our hearts now so we can live, move and have our being in Christ, following and obeying Jesus. That is the law of liberty – a freedom to obey him. Jesus established a better covenant, through his death, burial, and resurrection, which was much more superior than the old covenant. He sealed this new covenant with His blood. It is a law of love, mercy, and grace.

Ezekiel prophesied the same thing: I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26 NIV). He also prophesied, "And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh; that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God" (Ezekiel 11:19-20 KJV).

We have established by three (3) prophets here a promise from God, that the Lord was going to give us a new heart and put a new spirit in us. In 2 Corinthians 13:1 (KJV) Paul said, In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

God gives it! God puts it in! He is the only one that can change a heart. He is the only one who has the power to renew our mind. He transforms the heart (or mind) by the enlightening power of his living Word. Your change will be one from a hard and unfeeling heart, to a heart that is soft and caring. He will enlarge your territory with himself as your mind is being renewed day by day, from glory to glory. You will become so interwoven with the Lord that you will become as one in him! You will become so closely intertwined that you will take on a nature change. You will become as he is. John said, As he is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17 KJV). The Light of Christ will begin to shine through you.

God wants you to know him. He will give you a heart to know him. Jeremiah also prophesied that the Lord said, And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord: that they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart (Jeremiah 24:7 KJV).

When the law (of the Spirit) of life in Christ Jesus starts flowing through our veins, we become new creations. We begin losing our appetite for those old things of the world. We begin to take on the mind of Christ. We are not what we used to be, just as a butterfly is no longer a caterpillar. A transformation has taken place inside. He turns our dead ashes into something beautiful (life-giving). If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. No longer are we concerned with earthly things, but with a liberty in the spirit, we begin to soar in heavenly places with peace in our hearts.

This New Covenant would be a better covenant, established upon better promises. The Apostle Paul wrote, But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second (Hebrews 8:6-7 KJV).

We needed a Savior and Jesus loved us so much that he laid down his own life for us to restore us back into a relationship of love from the heart. Jesus put away the sin-offering. It ended when he offered himself. No more rituals or ceremony. He did not become sin, but he became the offering for sin. Jesus had no day by day requirement (as other priests) to offer sacrifices for his own sins (because he knew no sins). He was the Lamb of God, with no spots or blemishes. He willingly offered up himself once for all. He redeemed us by his blood. He brought total redemption reaching all of his creation - reaching every kindred, every tongue, all people, all nations, every creature in heaven, every creature on the earth, every creature under the earth, in the sea and all that are in them. That sums it up! Total redemption! What a blessing! What a Savior!

Jesus was a sin-offering, but he never sinned. If he had sinned, he would have never qualified to be the Lamb without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. He was the perfect
