    About the Author

    Derek G. Pierson is married to Sharon U. Pierson. Together, they are the proud parents of Derek Jr. and Darien.

    He is the senior pastor of Holy Lighthouse Church, Inc. in New Rochelle, New York.

    Together, he and his wife have cofounded Selah Ministries Inc. Through this ministry, he and his wife have dedicated their efforts to helping the body of Christ achieve their full potential in Christ.

    He has earned the degrees of Doctor of Pastoral Ministries and Doctor of Theology in Christian Counseling Psychology. He has been awarded the Honorary Doctorate of Divinity in Episcopal Studies.
