She loves to play outdoors, read books, climb trees, and shoot squirt guns. Abbie often gets in trouble with her teacher and her mom but never with her grandma. There are lessons learned along the way. Abbie’s tales are stories that will make you laugh, think, and imagine.

Evie Jo Larrimore grew up a tomboy. She wrote this book to inspire girls and boys to play and to read. She has a Master’s Degree in Education. Evie taught Physical Education for 30 years in North Carolina Public Schools. She loves playing, reading, and helping other people learn new things.
