WHOA! HOW EMBARRASSING!

BACKSTROKE DRAMA

At my school swimming carnival I decided to enter the backstroke race. I’m a confident swimmer but I have always found backstroke tricky so I don’t know why I decided to race. During the race I looked over and saw that I was doing pretty good so I put my head back and swam as fast as I could. I could hear people shouting but I just thought they were cheering. It felt like I was swimming forever so I looked over and saw I wasn’t in my lane anymore! I had somehow swam diagonally across to the other lane! It was the most humiliating moment of my life!
