About this ebook

I write to you with no concrete interpretation, but only having experienced dreams as vast as pure love, as awkward as bizarre sex, and as deep as the yearning for connection. I write to you from an unconscious mind haunted by stories of hardship, pain, and unimaginable demons. I write to you from unconscious places where animals speak, environments crumble, and the ability to perform illogical acts without consequence is natural. I write to you vulnerable and amazed by the world of dreams. With great humility, gratitude, and detail, I share my unconscious memories.

Kristen Andersen

Kristen Andersen, Ed. D combines scholarly succinctness and creative vulnerability to successfully share short stories derived from her dream experiences. Introduction

I want you to know that I am not a researcher of dreams. I am not an expert about the unconscious mind. I am also not an interpreter of your dream experiences or knowledgeable about your associated emotions. I am however, longing to share what I have learned from these incredible and personal stories rooted in the depths of my mind. Through dream experiences, I have learned that when I am honest with myself, I can accurately interpret and understand the meaning to assist my waking life. I have learned that only I can determine the authentic relevance of my dreams. I have learned so much about the inner workings of myself, all by going to sleep.

So, maybe you had a dream last night, last month or last year. Maybe you think dreams are insightful, entertainment or therapeutic. Maybe you think dreams are irrelevant or nonsense. Maybe none of these. No matter if you vividly remember or what you think about dreaming, hopefully my sharing of these intense narratives will inspire you to interpret your own dreams by being honest with yourself and in turn, assist your waking life. The activity of the unconscious mind while we sleep, is a fascinating unknown. A mind that unconsciously creates stories to be stored as part of a conscious memory is simply, incredible.

So, I write to you with no concrete interpretation, but only having experienced dreams as vast as pure love, as awkward as bizarre sex, and as deep as the yearning for connection. I write to you from a mind haunted by stories of hardship, pain, and unimaginable demons. I write to you extraordinarily fulfilled by the wonder and stunning beauty of impossible environments and enlightening revelations. I write to you from unconscious places where animals speak, and the ability to perform illogical acts without consequence is natural. I write to you vulnerable and amazed. I write to you bewildered and fascinated by the world of dreams. With great humility, gratitude, and detail, I share my unconscious mind with you. I write to you from my unconscious memories.
