About this ebook

His ten-year search to find true love is a fate he wouldn’t wish on his worst enemy. The woman he thinks is his first love gets pregnant by the same man with whom she’s been sleeping since the middle of their relationship. He thinks his next romantic liaison is pure bliss until he discovers his girlfriend’s continued entanglements with her ex-boyfriend.

He continues to travel down a long, dark road with seemingly no light at the end until something incredible happens. He learns that old relationships must die before new ones can be born. His life has been a series of unsuccessful affairs and heartbreak, true, but all of that comes to an end with the arrival of true love.

Pulling no punches, author James R. Dixon draws from his own life experiences in his newest poetry collection Till Death Do Us Part. Reading like a narrative, he unflinchingly portrays the highs and lows of love in ways relatable, heartfelt, and eventually victorious.

Till Death Do Us Part - James R. Dixon

    REST IN PEACE

He was humble and not full of greed

He was there in my time of need

    My expectations he would exceed

Truly the last of a dying breed

He was special! He meant the world to us

We cared for him! We loved him so much

If only we could share one last hug

To embrace his gentle, sensual touch

A man with prodigious heart taken away sadly

I nurtured him when he was sick and felt crappy

Not once have I ever treated him badly

I dedicated my life to making him happy

We are gathered here today to pay our respects

To a man who supported me in every aspect

We first consummated our love in my apartment complex

His legacy, his name, and likeness we will protect

    AUTOPSY

    My expectations he would exceed

We cared for him; we loved him so much

I dedicated my life to making him happy

His legacy, his name, and likeness we will protect

Remove the angelic veil from your face and

Expose the evil in your eyes

You didn’t feel this way when Good James was still alive

Now he’s dead! You did it! You killed him!

The blood is on the hands of you lying, deceitful
