A Bit of the Happy, Bit of the Sad - C.D.Ten Cate

AN ALLIGATOR NEVER WAGS ITS TAIL

What have I to be happy about? I’ve been branded as

My existence beyond the town limits.

    Out there laid my dreams.

At twenty I existed in others. All that was me refracted

From what others said to or of.

Their thoughts could deflate or reflate. This was my
