A Bit of the Happy, Bit of the Sad - C.D.Ten Cate
AN ALLIGATOR NEVER WAGS ITS TAIL
What have I to be happy about? I’ve been branded as
Ugly, slow and unteachable.
A face that only a mother could love
Greets the world;
And that is all they see.
If I did
It would something remarkable,
It would be noted as a fluke.
If I came in first,
It would not count.
One would have to be crazy
To extend a hand to me.
So I do my wagging
Where no one else can see.

If you had died when our love did,

But I changed; you changed.
We evolved; it developed.
What did you expect?
Anyhow!
We complimented each other. Then you grew up; I never did.
Wife became mother, husband - kid. Anymore!
But love has not passed.
It simply lost the channel;
Connection busted, picture fuzzy
Tune it back.
Right now!
AS I LIVED IT

From what others said to or of.
Their thoughts could deflate or reflate. This was my
