27198.pngT his short book is dedicated to the gratitude I feel for my life, the love that I feel that I have been able to give to myself, the love that I feel for others and the love I have received. It is a little book dedicated to never giving up. It is dedicated to go on giving and receiving with grace. It is a book that reminds us all of the value of speaking up and asking for help whilst knowing that we are loved and a reminder that the right help and support will come to us in the perfect timing. We simply have to honestly learn to trust the process of love and of being love ourselves.
This book is dedicated to the never ending need to live your truth, even if it brings with it a perception of loss and, at times, overwhelming challenges. Telling the truth regardless of the perceived loss of dreams or passions is worth it. Any heart ache you may feel through telling your personal truth is worth it in the end for the fact it will bring you closer to who you really are. I have also learnt to trust the process. Hopefully, this little story of mine will bring you the same gifts.
Trust me, I used to be a policewoman. Then one day, I told the truth.
My life, like all many people’s lives, has been full of gifts and learning disguised as challenges in equal measure and I am grateful for all of it.
I would not change one second of my life and am looking forward to the rest of it full of the realisation that it is full of abundance and it is up to me to continue to be grateful for it and accept it. My life and what I have experienced to date has taught me humility, I hope this comes across in my writing.
You can also live a life of abundance and acceptance. Sometimes it just takes patience and time. Sometimes it just takes letting go. Sometimes it just takes a realisation that whatever happened in the past was all about building you up to be the best version of yourself you can be now. The best version of you surfaces when you are uniquely you. You are already living a life of abundance, it just takes acceptance of what is. Say to yourself every day, I am enough just being as much myself as I can be. This is the quickest way to realising that you are not only enough, you are amazing.
27203.pngT his book is also for my sons and anyone else who may find it useful reading to be able to return to gratitude for their life. If it convinces one person to not give up and to return to gratitude then my life has helped nurture the life of another.
My sons are two courageous loving souls and they are the unconditional loves of my life, simply by being themselves.
My purpose of being their mum, guiding them to live your lives the best way I know how, has carried me through a lot of challenges and learning.
My greatest joy and confirmation of love in this life has been watching my sons grow into the beautiful men that they were always meant to be.
I will forever be grateful for them both and all that they have taught me.
For mum and dad. Thankyou.
One of the most vivid memories I have of my childhood is being twelve years old standing in the back yard of the home I grew up in Australia and knowing, even then, that how my life turned out began and finished with me. If it was to be (whatever that was), it was up to me. I knew then that what I wanted in my life was my freedom and peace.
I somehow knew I had the ability, knowledge and skills to create the life I wanted. I knew I deserved a life of peace with the freedom to make my own decisions. As a child I knew I deserved to be able to decide where I wanted to live, who with, where and for how long (or short). I wanted to be able to not be controlled by money or another person’s needs. Aside from those desires I have learnt that money is essential to live a comfortable life but that is not everything and that the greatest feeling of
