About this ebook

Itruly hope you were enlightened by the different stories that are so real within people’s lives today. Some of us can relate to these stories and there are those that cannot; however, in this life before we die we all will experience something whether we share it or not, yet by doing so we can encourage the next person to pull through while going through.

    You Will Learn to be Grateful

    When your body begins to shut down,

    There’s literally nothing that you can do.

    When your mind constantly strays,

    Your memory becomes short

    More than just a few…

    When you can’t speak a full sentence

    Without you stumbling over a word,

    And when it becomes more difficult

    To repeat immediately what you’ve just heard…

    When you find yourself not being able

    To control your bathroom flow;

    Either getting dressed, going to a familiar place

    You now do not even know…

    When your appetite has decreased

    And you complain more of what you eat;

    Finding yourself not having the strength

    To walk away or pull yourself up from a seat…

    When you start realizing the difference

    How people now act towards you;

    They no longer having any respect

    Knowing there’s nothing you can do…

    When you watch your independence

    Slowly slipping away;

    When you find yourself depressingly

    Just existing from day to day…

    What do you do?

    What can you do

    When you don’t have the strength

    To do what you once could do…

    When you have to depend on someone

    Giving you aide every single day;

    Just enjoy every little moment

    And be thankful to God in every way.

    Not Being Born

    In my mother’s womb

    my body was beginning to form

    but suddenly I was destroyed

    and not given that chance to be born…

    I wasn't given that privilege

    to have any kind of life,

    because my mother’s decision

    gave one permission

    to disassemble me with a knife…

    Growing into love

    would have been a priceless gift to me;

    perhaps God ordained it

    maybe the evilness of her world

    he didn’t want me to see…
